I stopped in at the Café Brandli for a quick little snack while I was waiting for a train connection. The main entrance level has the take-away counter where you can purchase fresh breads, cakes, desserts, chocolates, sandwiches, yogurt, hot and cold beverages and more. There is also an upstairs sit-down café, but on my visit this area was rather busy so I headed back downstairs and was able to take a seat at the lone table near the take-away counter. I sampled the plum mini tort (3.50CHF) and it was very tasty. The staff was friendly and very professional. Certainly worth a visit.

I am surprised to read all of the negative comments. I can imagine that there were mistakes done in the past and it must be incredibly difficult to improve the image and win the good reputation back.We've been to the Sunshine Hill for burgers three times between 2012 and 2014 and they were just great every single time. The portions are huge and ladies can go for the smaller one. For a side dish and a drink you will pay approximately 35 SFr.
