Big Apple has been a fixture in Chicago Heights for a long time. Family run and now with a few other locations have become the area's Breakfast and lunch go-to. A large Menu for all of your breakfast needs. I had the Denver Omelet and Hash browns. Large portions are common here and be prepared to take a bag home. Wait staff is nice and most have worked a long time at this location. Closed a 3 pm.

I ordered the shrimp trio and the walt's favorite shrimp. Both entrees were saturated in grease. You could literally squeeze the grease from the fried shrimp. The shrimp alfredo was saturated in some kind of butter sauce. Excuse me I'm feeling nauseated writing this because I'm still sitting at the table. The food was prepared like a fast food restaurant and that's being nice. The biscuits are greasy. The green and mushrooms were overcooked and greasy. Wow! At this point, White Castle woud have been a better choice. If you choose this location by mistake make sure to bring plenty of antacids! I'm not taking any leftovers home. Feeling sick!

9am weekday. No wait. Server was kind & courteous. Food took a while but was good, no complaints (Spinach crepes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, peach pecan pancakes). Always love IHOPs carafe of coffee on the tables. Facility is older & could use some updating, however no excuse for a dirty bathrooms. Mens room reeked of urine with a wet floor. It was so appalling that my husband told me not to chance the bathrooms. Hadn't been there in a while & don't think we'll be going back.

Went to flavor 6/16/17 for a bite to eat while out. First time at the Richton Park location. Everything tasting pretty good. Then find a bug gross!!!! So now thinking was that pepper or a bug. The owner is sitting there having a talk sitting at a table in view. So our waitress goes to tell her we would like to talk to her and what happened. She saw the bug from what she had just brought to the table while we were still eating. The owner says "just one and they wanna talk to me". So now I'm thinking I definitely ate bugs. Drunk them too bug on the ice. So she never came over how rude this is your business with bugs have at it. Will never ever go again. The staff is wonderful owner full of herself.Sorry, but this review is not accurate and I wouldNever respond to a guest nor that situation in that way.

The menu has a nice variety. A couple of us had the shrimp and grits. A very generous portion. I had to take home half. One person had the short ribs which they loved. The dessert carmel cake a slice was huge. The chicken and waffles what can I say. YUMMY!!!

The pizza is so good you forget the other items on the buffet. Two soups, chicken wings, hush puppies, pasta plus greens with lots of salad toppings. The bread is warm and yummy. If you have room they also have two dessert pizzas that were outstanding.Great place highly recommend the buffet. It's so great to hear you've been this impressed with the pizza -- that's what we're all about!
