LongHorn Steakhouse

On arrival in the USA from the UK I wanted a quick, easy, reasonably priced and dependable steak dinner... So I headed to 'Longhorn Steakhouse'. The Reading location is like all others I've visited, with booth and table seating, American cattle-herder / countryside decor and good tasting steak. I went for the 12oz New York Strip which was tender, tasty and moist. With 2 sides and a Coke it came to $26.51 (inc Tax), so a good steak at a good price.

My wife and I went to Bunratty Tavern along with two other couples and we're greeted by the proprietress and immediately made feel at home. Live traditional Irish music was being played (no cover chafe). The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Food and drink were great. Enjoyed the apps. We'll definitely be back.

Great place for take-out. The selections are varied and portions are very large. Prices are average to a little above average but well worth the price. They offer daily specials. The chicken florentine is outstanding. There are a couple of stools at a window counter so you could eat there but it is tight. They will be moving to Main Street in Reading in January 2017.

large omelette cooked correctly. Decent home fries and good raisin bread. Tasty sausage, not too greasy. Good service. noisy as tables are packed in and we were seated near the kitchen even though a wall divided us from the kitchen. A smell of old cooking grease was coming from teh kitchen which dulled the overall enjoyment of good food and a good price. The odor is the reason for 4

Harrow’s is amazing!!! Their homemade chicken pie, with or without vegetables along with a dozen rolls is my “go to” when I need a break from cooking! You can purchase several different sizes and they are available cooked, hot & ready to eat (always my choice), refrigerated so you can cook at home or frozen so you can stock up in the freezer.Their chicken pies are like what your Gramma used to make! I always make sure I buy a bigger size so there are plenty of leftovers. It is filled with huge chunks of white chicken meat, tasty gravy and perfect crust. I just love having a place that I can count on to provide warm delicious “comfort food”. Thanks Harrow’s - my family loves it and I highly recommend :)

I went recently with my husband, as we wanted to try after hearing about it from a few people. We were both very pleased with our meal. Great beer and drink selection, I got the blackberry lemonade sangria, I’m a big sangria fan! Well mixed and flavor was great! We then got the fried pickles, bc who doesn’t love them. What was different is they used bread and butter pickles and they tasted amazing, with the sriracha aioli for dipping, great app! My husband proceeded to get his usual classic cheeseburger, but was very pleased with the taste, as he said it was one of the best tasting burgers he has had, which is big coming from him. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was huge, coleslaw and fried pickles on it with chipotle bbq sauce, great combo of cool, hot, sweet, and salty! I changed my fries to the garlic Parmesan and they were life changing, one bit and you stop bc they are so good!!Overall great food, service was average, have good outdoor seating space, and plenty of parking.

Stopped in just before 12. We waited for a table for a few minutes. We ordered after receiving our drinks (iced tea and iced coffee that had been made ahead of time, so was good and cold). I ordered the kielbasa omelette with cheddar cheese, home fries and wheat toast. My husband had the Chefs salad. The omelette was piping hot and tasty. The home fries were crispy and delicious. The toast was prebuttered. The Chefs salad was fresh with lots of meat and cheese. Excellent service and great meal! Only downside...parking is limited.

We went for an early supper and game of bowling. The food was great and the service was even better. One caveat...when the bill arrives the suggested tip is based on the total outing not just food. Bowling is $52 for a family of 4...I'm certainly not tipping the waitstaff for that expense!! Kings really should adjust that on their sales slips.Itsme231,Thank you for taking the time to give us a great review. We are so happy to hear how much you enjoyed your meal and elevated service! We appreciate you bringing the suggested tip to our attention and will be looking into this to correct the breakdown. We value your feedback and want to thank you again for bringing this to our attention.Best,Keith R.
