Find out what American restaurants to try in Pickerington. Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. Pickerington is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr. off Interstate 70.

I wanted a sandwich but no time to sit and dine. Opted to get a BLT and fries to go. Wasn't expecting much..SUPRISE... Loaded with crispy bacon, fresh tomato, crunchy toast. Excellent crispy fries. $7 and some change and it came out quickly also. Gonna have to dine in next time. Great to go experience.

The restaurant has a small town feel to it but the food delivered big time taste. We had a short wait at the bar before our table was ready and several of the bar patrons were regulars...quite friendly, engaging and complimentary of the restaurant. Our party had the ribs and the porterhouse steak and both were flavorful and tender. It was our first visit and hopefully wonât be our last.

First... I don't do chains when I travel. After this, that will change. Yes, Skyline has a unique menu. That actually helped... but this staff, from the great waitress to the manager, were spectacular people. The people in this community are truly lucky. Note: I will be back!!

Four of us stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. I was surprised at how busy they were! The dining experience was great. Attentive staff, good atmosphere and everyone loved what they ordered. We started with the pretzel bites and the spring rolls (both were very good). The dinner items were the Classic Beef burger (cooked as requested which is always a pleasant surprise), the salmon salad which I understand was delicious, the Mamaâs meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were great and I had the Chicken Picatta (which was TWO chicken breasts) on pasta with diced veggies - and was perfectly seasoned. Everything was really nice! Thanks for a great dinner out!

Family operated and owned for over a quarter of a century Proudly serving award winning food to bring together friends and families from all across Central Ohio and beyond for their family-friendly atmosphere and award-winning meals. For over 30 plus yea
Had never been here before. My husband had but it had been awhile so he couldnât remember what it was comparable to so I took a chance! We were seated promptly and the server was friendly and efficient. The breadsticks we had for appetizer were really good! The pizza is a thin, crispy crust; sauce a tad spicy but not hot, toppings are plentiful and the beer is cold and all is reasonably priced! They state theyâre award winning and although I was pleased with everything and will definitely return, I wouldnât rate this as award winning pizza. I have zero complaints though and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you.

Bar atmosphere very busy at lunch. Find a table and seat yourself. We sat at the bar. Waitress was good very busy for her and slow on return visits. had a Ruban that was just OK. Fries could have need fresher. $12.00+ for the size of sandwich was a little much. Sauce was on the side which was weird.

We had read about this place but decided to give it a try for our anniversary. We arrived about 7:00 and were able to get right into our room after we received our welcome beer. Our room opened onto the sour brewing facility and the other sides window looked out over a lake. The roomâs theming was very well done. It was all beer but done very tastefully. We went down to the restaurant for dinner and it seemed to be a lot of Mexican inspired dishes. I had tacos but also had an amazing side of sweet corn. The weather the days we were there were beautiful and there were people sitting outside enjoying all the lawn games and activities they had such as corn hole and large Jenga. They also had a large fenced in dog park. We enjoyed playing table tennis. In the morning they provided a reasonable breakfast of beermosas, make your own yogurts and other items. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and/or brewery and would like to return in the future.

Our group's travels have taken us to several fascinating venues throughout the eastern part of our great country, and there has always been a need to get our batteries charged up for the day's activities at a great breakfast spot; and that means a Cracker Barrel is in order! For our foray to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, the CB in Pickerington, Ohio was our selection. Manager Dan is perfect for his job, and he was able to get our mass of stomach- grumbling patrons quickly seated and able to bury our noses into their expansive menu . EVERYONE, yup, EVERYONE was bragging later that they had made the best choice from the interesting options. Indeed, it is impossible to make a wrong selection at a Cracker Barrel! What really impressed me about this particular CB ; besides Dan the man, and the oh-so-delicious breakfast, was their famous gift shop attachment to the restaurant. Pickerington's shop seemed to be larger than other CB shops, with a lot more selections of their totally unique clothing gifts, unusual and hard to find games, and those nostalgic candies! Those candies! I simply HAD to buy a few tons of them because I just knew that my uncle or cousin or neighbor would be so pleased if I bought them a candy that they had remembered from their childhood.( Yeah, right! They were all for ME! Ha Ha Ha) Anyway, hats off , or belt loosened in honor of this great version of Cracker Barrel in Pickerington, Ohio. You folks are doing a really great job there. Keep up the good work, Manager Dan and crew!

We ended up coming here after leaving Red Robin for horrible service. We got seated, greeted and serviced quickly with a smile. Couldnât be happier about our choice to leave Red Robin tonight and not continue to watch the bartenders meltdown. Thank you roosters !!

Had a gift card and used for a nice dinner. Joined their e-club and had a very nice $12 appetizer of shrimp. Meer was pricey for a local IPA at $7. Ordered 6 oz filet medium rare and was tasty and done right. Certainly recommended for families and moderate steak dinners.
