This place has been busy since it opened, however the first three times I went there they had a pretty bad selection of beer! One lager, no IPA's, and a bunch of funky fruit infused beer, stouts sure but after three stops, I have not been back!

Saw the "all you can eat perch" sign for Friday evenings and thought we'd give it a try. The second we hit the vestibule I could sense an overwhelming "old Grease" smell. We decided to go in anyway. This restaurant is absolutely spotlessly clean. We were greeted immediately and our order came out lightning fast. We ordered the perch, but gave no idea what we got, except to say that it was not perch. Whatever we had appeared to be fried well, but was flavorless and terribly mushy. There was no skin with stripes as a perch would normally have and the taste was off putting. We were offered another serving but declined, fearing that we may get sick. Think it may have been Basa or some inferior river fish. The menu looked ok, because it's hard to screw up an egg, just, for the love of all that is holy, DONT order that "perch". It was so bad that we will never step foot in that place again.

Wife & I stopped here on 8/11/17 around 9:45 am for breakfast while road-tripping through the lovely state of Michigan. I suspect the building was an old Ryan's Steakhouse or something similar. None of that matters. The hostess and waitress were both equally courteous and friendly. My coffee cup was never below 1/2 empty, and I never had to ask for more. Wife ordered a skillet, and I had the best restaurant-ordered omelette ever. Perhaps I'm a bit biased towards my love of all things breakfast, but the Farm Omelette (green peppers, ham, cheese, onion)was really quite tasty. I thought the restaurant looked reasonably clean. I did not see any cooks picking noses or anything of that sort. We did not use the restrooms, so we cannot say anything for that. Sure, the joint's a bit dated. It's not the FIFTY7 West at the Four Seasons, but that doesn't make a difference when the staff is nice, the coffee is hot, the food is tasty, and the price is right.

We went to the Tea Pot East for breakfast on a Sunday around noon give or take and got the last table. We all ordered the " breakfast special". Service was good, food was good and place was a cute home style restaurant. Very nice, no complaints.

A delicious beer battered fish and chips made from perch fish and local beer. Great downtown pub atmosphere with friendly staff. We ate inside and watched some boxing and football. There was a large crowd at the outside tables enjoying the pleasant fall weather.

We had a small party of friends,16 total, gathered and everything went perfectly. Five pizzas of which one was gluten free and one was gluten, dairy, and soy free and all tasted great. Beth and Debbie were wonderful to us keeping drink glasses full and asking if there was anything they could do or get for us. Even brought out some chicken nuggets and fries for the kids. All topped off with a delicious gluten free brownie and ice cream. All had a great time!!!

This is a small craft brewery with an abundance of choices for the beer drinker. The commotion had great flavor and the hard cider was perfect. The food was also outstanding and the chef did a remarkable job. The staff was attentive and always checking on us. We were there for a paint and sip class but would definitely go back again.

Red's Root Beer

Reviewed By thepartyguys

I visited Reds' for the first time about three weeks ago. I've driven by it often when passing through Paw Paw, Michigan and have always thought to myself what a cute and well-kept drive-in it was so I finally stopped in. The place was busy but plenty of drive-in parking spots. They also have an island between lanes with picnic tables set up for those who want to eat at a table. After I ordered my burger, fries and malt I sat and took in the scenery of families and people on a Saturday afternoon. There was a young family sitting at a picnic table in front of my car and I overheard the dad tell his small child that 'grandma and grandpa used to come here when they were dating' so obviously the drive-in itself has been around for a while. As I was waiting I happened to notice an older gentleman going from car to car, table to table and asking everyone how they were and how the food was. Well when it was my turn I discovered this was Red himself. He shook my hand and told me all about how the get their meat locally and hand patty the burgers. He told me I wouldn't be disappointed. He was RIGHT! Best darn drive-in burger I've had in ages. I teach food safety classes and recognize quality when I see it and Red is spot on. I've been back a couple of times since then. If you are in the area and it's drive-in season, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be sorry.
