Really nice restaurant with cool atmosphere perfect to meet up friends and enjoy delicious food in northern part of Kathmandu. Juicy burgers, super tasty ham and cheese sandwich, amazing apple crumble! A lot of choices on the menu including for vegetarian and vegan foodies! And it only got better when Nina came to our table to entertain us with a great sense of hospitality and humour. One of these places that you can easily get addicted to!

We have been going to this little hidden gem weekly for the past while and have only had the BEST meals and hospitality at Merhaba. Each of the meals we have tried has been cooked to perfection. The ambiance is positively cozy, the service is personable, friendly and a delight, the portions are beyond generous, and, as i previously stated, the food is out of this world delicious!

We couldn't believe how nice this coffee was, and they had soya milk too which was hard to find and a real bonus for us vegans! We had caramel lattes...several days in a row! Also had lovely Western breakfast when we fancied a change from the local food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices but mostly delicious coffee in a really nice and clean and modern environment!

We wanted to have breakfast there. Entered and the place looked lovely. Said Namaste to the waitress twice. No response. Then we approached, said good morning. No response. He was just looking down to his phone. It was really impossible that he didnât notice us. Then we got real close and said âHello?â (one more time). Finally he lifts his head for only a second and pointes to a table for us. And that was it. Turned our back and left.Who ever is working in a restaurant has more then the responsability to be at least polite. Maybe it was a bad day for him or the restaurant has other waitresses, but donât think that was a reasonable attitude.Maybe the food was great, but a restaurant isnât only about food.Not coming back...
