Reviewed By TaranitaHandy for visiting Lumbini. Very nice and helpful staff. I left early on the final morning, and the staff made me a packed breakfast to take on my coach trip to Kathmandu. Cold at night with no heating. Restaurant with varied manu, and decent breakfast.

Out of 10 we give 0 3) well come drink is nice, i asked ladi ,how you make this drinks what is the ingredient mixed in this drink,OMG she don’t know,but she serves us drinks. Out of 10 we give 6 4) before i visit beautiful property Bodi Red Sun hotel,I call one of the sales lady ,i really don’t know she is sales person,i get to know your after our check in process done. I call her before i C/in she told me with BB net 4500 including water park pass . While i C/in receptionist give me different price with out including water park. I informed receptionist about me and sales lady (if i am not wrong her name is Puja Neupane) deal’s about my stay with family and rats, he didn’t listen,i have no choice my daughter she like fun park so i paid full amount5000, sorry to say they are cheating me with BB rate. Sales lady told me receptionist they can sale as much as higher price this is their commission,i know that bout i am not walking guest i have a deal with sales person about my stay and BB price.but she promise me ,this receptionist price she will give complimentary pass . 7)At night my wife feel headache so i call 3 times in the front desk,they said i let me check, i will send ,but nobody delivered any medication like panadol,paracetamol which i requested, they don’t have any

The beautiful view in front of main hotel building do not exist now and at first instance it looks little filthy due to renovation at the entrance and front side of the hotel. Slightly away from the main city centre but still good to get away from highway traffic. sleep quality good with comfortable bed, TV and AC - however, I could not find desired bed type as requested (king bed), not sure if they don't have or was occupied. Staff are good and welcoming. (-) Breakfast needs more improvement and good attention by staff to meet the needs of guest - limited choice of food (-) room interiors and bathroom amenities poor - needs some improvement

Reviewed By Teri TThe best thing about the place is the staff, who are really friendly and helpful. I got a budget room at a really cheap price (about $9 USD). It seems to be a low season for them. Anyway, there was only one other guest in the hotel, which was nice because it was really quiet. The bed was comfortable. Hot water is solar, so since there was no sun in those days, they gave me an electric kettle to heat water for my bath. Rather time-consuming, but I was grateful for the hot bath. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Reviewed By bongo12015We booked 3 rooms and stayed here for one night in between travelling from Pokhara to Butwal. Arrived late at night and could not find the entry as it was on a dark gravel road. Upon checking in, the room doors were locked with padlocks instead of a key handle door and the rooms were also old with no amenities including kettles, cups and only had 1 towel supplied in each room. The beds were as hard as slate and the bathrooms were very dirty and no hot water leaving us to take cold showers. We had dinner in the restaurant which was sufficient however because they had no coffee decided to go up the road to another hotel for breakfast which was great food and service and had amazing views of Palpa and also had a barista coffee machine. The staff at our hotel were warm and friendly and the Hotel is situated on a hill and is very quiet but unfortunately we won't be staying here again.

Reviewed By biratjThe only thing i loved was location. Rooms are over priced for such amenities. They tried to charge us extra for breakfast even after being told(while checking in) that rooms include free breakfast. They didn't have basic domestic liquors and deluxe beers, they even had a very limited number of strong beers. However the staffs were very polite.

Reviewed By onehandspeaksI picked this resort based on other reviews and I am glad I did. I am on a pilgrimage to the Birthplace of Buddha and the Maya Devi Temple. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with the staff's smiling faces. I was taken to the dinning room to relax and get something to drink. From that moment the staff was very attentive, responsive, and kind. The room was extremely clean and the air conditioner worked great. This is important due to the high temperatures in Lumbini. Each morning I was amazed and filled with joy as to the variety and sounds of all the birds in the resort's peaceful courtyard. The only thing better than the birds singing in the morning, was the quality of the food. WOW!! Everything was delicious. I decided to take a Tuk Tuk each way to Maya Devi Temple and the resort was happy to call for one every time. I did not want to walk the distance to the sacred garden grounds in the Lumbini heat. Overall I had a fantastic experience at the Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort.
