I spent months in India, but the best Indian food I had during my travels was here in Kathmandu. This restaurant's decor/atmosphere is simple, but the variety of the food and intricacy of the dishes is spectacular! Since we stayed at the Hotel Mulberry, we ate at a restaurant near this hotel. It is very dangerous to walk at night since the sidewalks and roads were loaded with pot holes. This restaurant was very close to the above hotel and served very good food. It appears to be a favorite of the non Asian population. Many trekker's from Europe and Australia were there. The staff was very welcoming and the food was very good. They offered a variety of ethnic foods which can be served mild or spicy.
