I have been there twice with colleagues during my short visit in Columbus. It appears to be v popular with the locals. Food is good and freshly prepared but nothing extra ordinary. Great if you want a bite to eat whilst enjoying a drink.

This was the first time I've eaten here.....and it will also be the last time. Loved the old building, the location, and the atmosphere. But the service, the price, and the food left a lot to be desired. If I hadn't been with a group of old friends, I would have left. The only thing I could afford was the Upland Nachos, but they were no bargain!$10 for nachos, but then you have to pay extra for the toppings to put on them? So I paid $1 extra each for a LITTLE container of sour cream and a one of guacamole. I wanted to add the smoked pulled pork, but I wasn't willing to add an extra $3.45 to an already overpriced item. We had to wait so long for our food that by the time we were served my nachos were cold.It wasn't worth the trouble to wait for them to be remade. I ate a few and left. I don't know how long the others stayed, and they will probably want to eat there again, but I won't be joining them if they do.

Small hometown place. We just walked in and had no idea what we were supposed to do until after we had our food and were seated and able to watch what others were doing. We went up to the counter where they were serving the fish & tenderloin and ordered the fish and tenderloin. They asked us what we wanted on it and if we wanted any sides and drinks. They went and got everything for us. Later, we saw everyone getting the trays, their sides & drinks before going up to pick up their fish. Oh well. The food was warm, and portions were large. My husband liked the fish. The tenderloin was huge, but I thought it could have used a little something, maybe just some pepper, in the breading. I was full just on the sandwich alone. My husband got a side of cole slaw that was good. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was good & filling.

It's been a year-and-a-half since our last somewhat disastrous meal at this restaurant at the Columbus airport. The food then was almost inedible, so we swore off eating there again. Someone told us that things were much better now so we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered their pot roast dinner choosing mashed potatoes and corn as our side dishes and adding a tossed salad. Although this comes with a choice of roll or biscuit according to the menu, we almost never were asked which we wanted on our previous visits, but today were given the choice - so we took the biscuit. The salad was pretty good, but the pot roast was fantastic - fall apart tender with plenty of perfectly seasoned beefy flavor. The mashed potatoes, with a generous helping of tasty brown gravy (also atop the roast), and corn were good too.Service, not always a hallmark here, was very fast and friendly throughout. Overall, they really put everything together today for a great lunch.

July 4th and pizza time with family. Good pizza-20.00 to feed a family. this is in the middle of the Indiana corn fields and a special place that is growing by leaps and bounds. They will let you taste a variety of beers and wines which allows you to find the one that is right for you. The surrounding gardens will be nice on a cooler evening but I can only think of a nice fall afternoon or evening.

This was our first time visiting Joe Willy’s. We were on a girlfriends getaway weekend and we absolutely loved Joe Willy’s. Super cute old house. Would have loved to eat on the awesome patio, but it was insanely hot out! The waitress was great. She was always right there when we needed something. The food was great too. The menu seemed to have a lot of different options. We will definitely be back!

The din was over-whelming walking into this bustling venue. The hostess said it may be less noisy in the back at the chef's table where we could watch up-close the food preparation. Walking into the kitchen there appeared to be chaos and fire and random uncoordinated spasms of movement. Once settled and somewhat accustomed, it became more clear, the exquisite ballet this cohort danced. Seth led the team, juggling sizzle pans, a wide selection of ingredients, sauces, oils, wines, and magic elixirs. Tonight the kitchen appeared in overdrive as if it were Mothers' Day...the busiest restaurant day of the year. It was indeed not Mothers' Day...it was a Tuesday night with constant slam on this kitchen. The team's coordination, with little talking appeared flawless. Surprising, for a kitchen so pressured by constant demand, no shouting, no harsh language was displayed...The entire team was polite and supportive throughout the service. The products of such a kitchen?Food was generous and delicious. Salad dressing did approach syrup in sweetness. This is a pricey spot...The Fred Flintstone sized 18 ounce strip steak is $44.00.

Looking for something different and the hotel recommended the place so I went and sought my dinner. I went to the bar as I was alone and sat down immediately and was greeted by the bar keep. There is no hard liquor here so I had an excellent Arnold Palmer. I had the smaller rib eye steak and it came out within 5 minutes so the service was crazy quick. The steak was fine other then really thin as they were going for size across rather then thick and small. The taste was excellent and the promised homemade slaw was very good.
