Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. This restaurant came recommended by a friend. The food and drinks were very good. Our server was Madeline and when asked for suggestions, hers were on point. The drinks were a lot bigger than expected and the was a welcomed surprise. Even if you stop in for appetizers, it is worth the trip.Hello, we are pleased to hear that Madeline was able to make your dining experience wonderful and that you enjoyed your drink choices. The restaurant is small and pleasant (if a bit noisy at the time we visited). The staff is very friendly and nice. We ordered appetizers (mushrooms, calamari) -- they were very tasty and we felt that if this is the beginning, then the main entrees should be great... It was not to be. First, getting the entrees to our table took forever -- a wait of 45-50 minutes since the appetizer dishes were cleared. Second, the main dish (we both ordered the chicken 'special' of the day) was disappointing. Hard chicken pieces of a rather strange texture, swimming in a pool of unpleasant sauce. The sad impression of this experience was improved a bit by an excellent cappuccino and good deserts, but the overall experience -- between the long wait and the rather-bland main entree -- ended up being mediocre.

Just anotherâs great Jersey diner. Large menu, great service and reasonable prices. Breakfast is always available and the omelette date fantastic. Good parking. Portions are large, with free refills on the coffee. Many choices of French toast. Great place for a family breakfast.

While others wine and dine their business relationships on steak and sushi, I bring them to Rutt's Hut. I tell them where we are going and what to expect and most people are excited to go to a local legend. The best part is that when I see them again, Rutt's Hut is almost always brought up. A steakhouse or other fancy restaurant is commonplace in the business world. Nothing is common about Rutt's Hut; quite possibly the best hot dogs on the planet!

Anthony's Cheesecake is a cozy little restaurant on Washington St. In Bloomfield. The Entrees and appetizers are what you could call creative. They served "Irish Nachos" on St. Patrick's day. On other days they will have dishes that are a flair up and above the usual fare. Anthony and his staff are very personable. This is becoming a Bloomfield Institution. BYOB but they take good care of you. There is parking in a lot just a few feet around the corner. Easy to get to.

Went for a wedding. The cocktail hour was amazing as was the Viennese hour - anything you could think of - way too much food. The dinner not so great. Steak was way too cooked, shrimps smelled fishy and potatoes were covered In Parmesan cheese. White wine at dinner was kept out and therefore not chilled as it should be served.

Great stuffed pork chop and appetizers!Service is always top shelf. Been coming here for 20 years!You can easily park and have a drink at the bar while you wait for friends/family.For some reason I always get the stuffed pork. Probably due to the fact that it is the best I have ever had. Not cheap but well worth it!
