A fabulous walk, an adventurous climb leading to the most stunning views. Exciting descent on chain ladders. Layden, from Ambhitheatre Backpackers was our guide. He was responsible always look out for our safety and then so much fun we had a great laugh and met some lovely, fellow travellers. Please don't be tempted to do this trek without a guide as there are potential risks and so please keep safe and wear good boots

The Twelve Apostles is a range of mountain peaks that runs along the Cape Peninsula south of Cape Town. They form the backdrop of a scenic drive along the coast.
We chose this hotel as it was out of Cape Town but close enough to visit the V&A and Camps bay (the hotel provided a free shuttle). From start to fishing everything was first class and the hotel catered well for all of its guests. Stunning coastal views from the pool and leopard bar, as well as great views of the 12 Apostles from the many walking trails and picnic spots around the hotel. Food and drink were reasonable priced be sure to eat at all the restaurants the conservatory was our favourite. The staff really made our visit, nothing was to much trouble, for example we were provided with a breakfast box when we missed breakfast due to our Table Mountain morning hike. Overall a great 5 start traditional hotel. I would thoroughly recommend.

This was my favourite feature on the Panorama Route. The guards at the gate are helpful (there is an entry fee) and staff in general are helpful and friendly. The area is well looked after and maintained. Bourke’s potholes themselves- wow! What a view! You walk about 400m from the parking area and are rewarded with amazing views. There is a trail you can walk on to see the potholes, waterfalls and river from various angles. There are also more challenging hikes for people with permits in the reserve.

This place is absolutely stunning. There's mountains and river flowing in between the mountains. An excellent stop for photography. There are also souvenir stalls by the road opposite this attraction, for those who are keen.

Best view at Coney rd view point if you have a car. Fantastic view on the Heads and the ocean breaking on the rocks. Two small beaches and shell collection.

Africa is a magical place ... how wonderful it is to be able to stand at the spot where two oceans meet ... awed, humbled and grateful.

Cape Whale Coast stretches from Rooiels to Pearly Beach. It includes Hangklip, Pringle Bay, Betty's Bay, Kleinmond, Fisherhaven, Hawston, Hermanus, Stanford and Gansbaai.
We stayed in Gansbaai to do a shark cage dive from Stilbaai. The walk along the beach fronting Walker Bay through to Gansbaai harbour is absolutely stunning. This is not a casual walk and does take some fitness to do.
