Kotelnica Bialczanska

Reviewed By sjk4158 - Suffolk, United Kingdom

We were here with friends this week (march 17). Great little spot to learn to ski or just practice. There were no queues as previously mentioned. We had fresh snow along with the artificial snow which is made overnight. The ski pass and ski equipment prices are so reasonable - Its not the Alps but it is soooo much cheaper. Good for little ones too. Nice restaurant at the top. Ski lift takes you up and down, for those not wanting to ski.

Thermal hot water filled pools with no roof and snowing weather - one does not put these two together to be enjoyed. Think again - it is real fun and fantastic experience, especially if one can enjoy at the same time some good drinks, has a possibility to eat a really good meal and have some fun in saunas. It is really worth to visit even in winter.

Jurgow Ski

Our exerience there was significantly influenced by -16°C freeze and a bit windy weather...anway I would say that the lifts are ok, just the one where you not sit just glide is too slow for me...anyway tracks were pretty flat and very well prepared..one more negative point was that on part of the tracks there was a kids race organized, I would expect some discount but no problem...what I considered as realy problem was a mass in the restaurant overcrowded by little racers...

Niedzica Castle (Zamek w Niedzicy)

Reviewed By greekcypriot2009 - GREECE&CYPRUS

The Niedzica Castle, also known as Dunajec Castle is one of Poland’s prime tourist attraction. It towers over a large water Reservoir with an impressive dam and an even more impressive and delightful view over the artificial lake.
It is still in great shape even though it lived in up through the 1940s.
Coming here was part of the rafting tour.
It was the first stop after rafting and there was time given to spend it as each one liked but unfortunately not enough to have both lunch and pay a visit to the castle.

We did manage to have a very short stroll to the opposite side of the Castle before lunch, but we were delayed at the restaurant since service was poor. The remaining time left was just for a few shots in a hurry on our way to the parking lot…not to mention that we were not totally sure where it was since we were dropped off much behind.

Termy Bukovina

Reviewed By Agnieszka C

A nice place to relax. It offers a few outdoor and indoor swimming pools with different water temperature, usually varying from +28 to +36 degrees Celsjus. There are separate swimming pools for children (not too many for very young kids), some jacuzzi, some sunbeds, there is sauna and spa and other amenities. Make sure that you know what is included in your ticket, because some things (like sauna) are at additional costs. The "shortest" stay is 30 minutes, but it's not enough :) The car park is free of charge. The changing rooms and the showers are clean, there are many toilets inside of the Termy. I have a feeling that there are not enough lockers because every time I leave (we usually go there in the morning) I can hear someone complain that there is no locker available anymore and they have to wait for a locker to be freed by other customers. The disadvantage of the place is that it can be quite cold between one pool and another, especially if someone leaves the door to the indoor pool open when it's cold outside. Every pool has a lifeguard, and the pools vary in depth so even if you can't swim you still can have fun. They used to offer aqua aerobics, this year I haven't noticed it, I hope they will offer it next year again. Overall, quite expensive but nice and worth visiting at least once during your stay in Bukowina.
