With sparkling fjords lacing its coastline and soaring mountains dotting its interior, Norway could rightfully claim to be one of the world's most beautiful countries. A progressive society, thriving cultural scene, and free camping in most areas make Norway a great place to visit.

Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery this exciting resort is located only 1,5 hours drive from Oslo and Gardermoen. Norefjell Ski & Spa opened in the spring of 2009 and has won several awards. Norefjell Ski & Spa offers recreation and spa experiences in an atmosphere you've never experienced before. Our visual identity is based on details from Norefjells nature and wildlife. The area consists of 244 hotel rooms of which 121 are double rooms and 123 suites and 161 apartments in the village. The resort offers ski in - ski out, a 16 meter high indoor climbing wall, ice rink, spa, pool and restaurant.
There is a lot of room for improvement 1. The food is AWFUL, BLEND, LIMITED, and no options as meals are set. No options for people with allergies and intolerance. You are told “we have deer on the menu for main today “ if you don’t eat deer that’s tough I guess. No variety at all and no puffing for special dietary requirements. 2. No housekeeping through out the week stay 3. The whole hotel had no caffeine free teas so if you can’t take caffeine tough . The whole week 4. Loud bass music through out the night if you have kids they won’t sleep 5. It cost £70 to get a taxi to the nearest shop which is 10 min away 6. The resort is 3 hours from the airport 7. The corridors are a filthy as there is no house keeping 8. There was no microwave in time apartment 9. I starved most of the time as I have food allergies and intolerances THE ROOMS ARE DUSTY!! 10. No cash machine on site In general the people in Norway are so rude, they push through no excuse me or please . Positive It’s a lovely resort and just needs food, housekeepers Ski instructors Sebastian (adult instructor )and Erasmus were Amazing! Lucy in the restaurant was trying her outmost best to get other options but clearly they didn’t exist . Mario was good too but limited by the hotel Facilities are good Staff are very friendly Beautiful apartment although they should get a double bed in master bedroom

From its unique location, 800 metres above sea level, the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences Trysil, boasts stunning views of the alpine slopes and neighbouring mountains. From its opening in December 2011, the hotel has successfully hosted numerous events and vacationing families, giving them a taste of the magical winter wonderland of Trysil. Spanning an impressive 33 000 square metres it is amazing how the resort manages with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, to maintain the feel of a remote mountain chalet. Offering both comfortable guest rooms and apartments it's perfect for families or groups of friends, the resort is the perfect choice for adventure seekers and those pursuing a mountain oasis. The resort offers an impressive Spa including both indoor and outdoor pools, several saunas and a wonderful spa treatment selection. After a day in the slopes enjoy the tastes of Trysil in Restaurant Barken while taking in the majestic views of the mountain or enjoy a casual dinner in Stabben Afterski & Restaurant.
Poor communication about closing at end of season. Mixed messages from staff. Restaurants closed without prior warning and hotel end of season closing time not communicated until mid-way through the stay.

We are a private, catered chalet company offering a luxury experience in the infamous (amongst powder lovers) ski resort of Røldal on the west coast of Norway. We aim to provide a unique experience in a resort that has been discovered by off-piste and back country enthusiasts. We also offer summer packages. Including guided trips to Trolltunga, Public Rock and many other amazing mountain hikes.
Being a director of a company it is hard to shut down, but at Nordic Chalets I totally relaxed. The food was great, the beds were comfortable and the skiing was fantastic. It is a beautiful chalet with stunning views. Having the place to ourselves at the beginning of week felt like our own private ski resort and our hosts could not do enough for us.

See why so many travelers make Pers Cottages their resort of choice when visiting Gol. Providing an ideal mix of value, comfort and convenience, it offers a budget friendly setting with an array of amenities designed for travelers like you. Rooms at Pers Cottages provide a flat screen TV, a refrigerator, and a kitchenette. You can also enjoy a pool and an on-site restaurant while staying at Pers Cottages. Gol has plenty of cafes. So when you’re here, be sure to check out popular spots like Kjersti's Mat og Vinhus, Gol Bakeri, and Hoftun Kro Cafeteria, which are serving up some great dishes. Best of all, Pers Cottages makes it easy to experience some great Gol attractions like Gordarike Family Park, which is a popular park. At Pers Cottages, your comfort and satisfaction come first, and they look forward to welcoming you to Gol.
Our initial plan was to book at Pers Hotel/Resort. However they accepted only bookings for full board stay during weekends. As this did not suit our needs, we instead booked the cottages. Turned out to be a lucky move, as when having breakfast/an evening drink at the hotel we found it extremely noisy there. Probably best suited for families with kids, used to yelling and running The location of the cabins are good, just steps away from the shops and a few cafes/eateries at the mainstreet of GOl. Check in at a reception opposite to the entrance to Pers resort We foundt the cabins acceptable value at about NOK 700 a night, inlcuding linen and cleaning. However we would not recommend that more than 2 people stay in the hytte. They are on the small side. One comfortable queen size bed in the main room, more beds at the loft/ mezzanine above. Well working heathing and plenty of hot water. Basic equipment for preparing meals, big fridge. Possible to have breakfast at the hotel - at 155 NOK per person. However our expereience is that it is not good value. Normal selection of eggs, cold cuts, cereal. After Norwegians standards rather poor on bread. And really not a good start of the day to have the chorus of all those yelling kids around you The cabins have small balcony with furniture, overlooking the river. Across the river is the Gordarike viking topic fun park. Probably can be disturbed by parking and activity there are peak season. At present (September) very peaceful Staying at the cabins gives you a discount at the Tropicana at the resort, where there is pools /slides etc - we did not try it.

The hotel is an original cluster of houses, and you will enjoy yourself here Haholmen Sea Cottages consists of 25 buildings, including the main building, meeting rooms, hotel rooms, a pub, a restaurant, and a museum. The guests roam between the buildings here, just like they did in a living fishermen’s community in the olden days. It is very inspiring to experience the coastal culture and nature
Amazing stay at Håholmen, both in the sun when we arrive and gales the day after. Quite an experience sitting safely indoors while the wind whittles the buildings, eating exquisite seafood and sleeping in top-quality lining. This was in all ways the perfect backdrop for our meeting!

• Ingen egnede lekeområder for barn utenfor,
