Was dissapointed that they didn't have ball (potato dumpling), but the steak was very good, as was the slider. Good looking interior. Staff is pleasant and the place is clean. You can sit outside and have a view of the river.

The food was rather good for Norwegian standards and presented nicely. The bottled specialty beer is very good. The architecture of the new building is impressive from the outside and it also hosts a history museum of Norwegian mountain climbing, cinema, souvenir shop and the cafe. A big minus is the inside architecture of the cafe: It looks and feels like a school canteen from the 70'ties. Cold, drafty and bad acoustics which made a conversation rather impossible.

New beautiful restaurant with a great view from Romsdalseggen, in the form of a large panoramic picture. Recommend table reservations.

Not a lot of restaurants in åndalsnes and this is one worth visiting. Traditional food for a hotel restaurant, burgers, entres good selection of beer. I had the trout which was very tasty. My husband has the moose burger which filled him enough he didn’t want desert! Good beer selection. I had a geranger IPA.Norway prices but worth it.
