I visited Star Thai about a year ago and the food was very good. I recommended to friends that we go there again recently and was sadly disappointed. The service as usual was friendly and enthusiastic but the food did not impress. The meat dishes were ok but the pad thai was gluggy and tasteless. For the price paid it definitely was not value for money and I would not recommend Star Thai again.

First time visitors to Jariya's Thai and we weren't disappointed. A small restaurant with just a small number of tables for dining-in but we were going the takeaway option. The menu is quite good for authentic Thai cuisine with a good variety of choices - we went for the Massaman Lamb, Beef Jungle Curry and a serve of Curry Puffs plus boiled rice. The dishes were very nice and the Jungle Curry had quite a good bite to it; the Massaman full of flavour with a good balance of meat to potato. The curry puffs were among the best we've had, although a little disappointed that they weren't served with a Thai dipping sauce.From phoning to collection was about 15 minutes. The service on pick-up was quick and polite. The chefs are all Thai. Cost very reasonable. Plenty of easy parking in the area. Open 6 days of the week (closed Tues). Will use again.

This restaurant never fails, the yellow curry is one of my favourites, very mild but very tasty. The pineapple curry is also fantastic with prawns. I could eat everything off their menu and know it would be sensational.

We went here for a celebratory dinner for two. The staff are very courteous and prompt. I enjoy spicy food however my wife prefers milder so we shared a yellow Thai curry which we both enjoy and is a little milder that the Thai green curry. This is a BYO (with corkage) venue however alcohol can be purchased. Everything here is freshly cooked and quick, in fact it is extraordinary how fast the hot entree arrives at the table. Due to changes to the Rockignham foreshore street parking is now at a premium, however just north of the venue there is ample parking and the entrance is opposite the fish and chip shop on Flinders Lane, be aware that during public holidays etc you may be required to pay a fee as this parking area belongs to and is at the rear of a hotel on Kent street. If you have a peak time booking allow plenty of time to locate parking and walk back to the venue.

We had been waiting for a while to try this place and finally got the chance to.We were not disappointed!The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was very authentic.It's hard to find a great Thai restaurant. Finally we have!We will be back :)
