Western Australia, Australia Food Guide: 6 Steakhouse food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Perth

Reviews on Steakhouse food in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts an active beach scene and smokin’ nightlife. Family-friendly Cottesloe is brimming with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Head north to Scarborough for a spirited beachside club scene. Coo at cute marsupials on ferry-accessible Rottnest Island, and don’t miss the views from King's Park and Botanic Gardens.

Rather like the Duxton itself! The food was absolutely fine but both for dinner and for breakfast it lacked inspiration. Service was good. However ,despite asking and reminding them that we had a show to catch , our main course was served with insufficient time to enjoy it before our departure. We liked the Thai fishcakes, salmon, sirloin steak, pork belly and risotto.Similarly, again, the breakfast was fresh , delicious but somewhat uninspired although there was variety. I was very disappointed that they don’t know how to brew tea. Coffee was okay. So - not quite 5 stars.

The Meat & Wine

The Meat & Wine Co serves prime steaks on one of Perth's prime locations, the corner of St George's Terrace and William St. This was once the site of the Palace Hotel, Perth's premier hotel for many years. The food is excellent, have a drink at the bar if you are waiting for guests. The steaks are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. By the way, it pays to book, especially at busy periods.

Enjoyed a nice steak and appetiser. Both very delicious and tasty. Service was OK, nothing special. I think I've had better service elsewhere in the city.A staff member who serviced me asked if I wanted to order a drink even though I just ordered one from that same person five minutes ago, and I was still waiting for it to come. I thought that was pretty amusing because they weren't very busy at the time. It's small things like this that show they aren't really paying attention.

I had two meals here at Adelphi, the Kangaroo fillet (which was phenomenal) and the seafood platter (which I am biased, seafood is my favourite). Both dishes were extremely well presented, cooked to absolute perfection and the price of each meal was spot on, what I paid for to what i received was amazing. The serving staff were super efficient and friendly, very quick to make sure that you have been looked after and that everything was up to standard. They even liked to chat about what my stay was for etc. The whole time they were laughing amongst each other, having fun at work, which is good to see. I'll be back at this restaurant for sure. Even if you are not staying at the attached hotel, this place would be great for a meal when you are in the City centre of Perth.Dear likestotravel87Thank you for writing a review about your recent visits to Adelphi Grill. We are delighted you enjoyed your kangaroo fillet and seafood platter. Thank you also for your lovely comments about the service from our friendly team.Your recommendation is appreciated and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon.Best regardsDavid ConstantineGeneral Manager

A great place to try the wild game of Australia. We tried the Jack's game platter and got to sample kangaroo, wild boar, buffalo (different from American buffalo), crocodile, camel, and emu. And you can try steaks or other dishes with those meats. And the beef steaks were amazing. Seafood options are plenty too; Wife tried the barramundi and that was also delicious! Bigger selection of beers than most Australian restaurants. Try the local Western Australia beers on tap.

A business associated took me here for lunch during a recent conference in Perth. The menu is modern and varied; we both went for salads, which were fresh and well presented. The decor is bright, contemporary and clean. Friendly service. Very buzzy at night, but also a good atmosphere at lunchtime. A solid choice for a meal in Perth.
