Cheddars is a very neat and clean restaurant. The service was good, my waitress was attentive without being clingy. Service was fast, almost too fast since I wasn't done with my salad before they brought out the main course (not that thats a bad thing). The menu is slightly limited, but I still had a difficult time figuring out what I wanted (in a good way). There was a lot of neat decor as well, with pictures of celebrities adorning the walls and a really cool fan in lobby. There was a small mix up with the bill, but it was quickly rectified by the waitress. Staffing might be an issue since my waitress seemed overworked. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience. If I am ever in this area again, Cheddars will be at the top of my dinner options.

This restaurant is in the Marriott Hotel on the riverfront. It is open and airy inside and played pleasant soft music. Our waitress was excellent. By the time we got there ~7, they had run out of one of the specials for the day. Our food was excellent.

Recently had dinner here with my family. The beer was excellent and the food was delicious. We are all vegetarians and I really, really appreciated being able to sub tofu for almost any meat on the menu. Meat eaters dont worry you are covered too of course! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend.

I have enjoyed several meals here, some related to work, some with friends. Each time I enjoyed my meal and tried new dishes, many of them very creative and unique. The restaurant is nice, very clean and classy, but the outdoor deck over the river is really awesome, especially in summer and fall. The atmosphere is relaxing. Beer and drinks are also very good and bartending excellent.

My friend R and I hadnât had dinner together since March and we were passed due. We decided on the Iron Horse Tavern in downtown Morgantown, WV. It was Thursday evening so we went a little early but really there was no reason. With the most of the WVU students gone for the summer it wasnât overly busy just a steady clientele.The cocktail menu is fun to look at with many delicious choices from White sangria with cukes and melon to a spiked lemonade. I had my usual a dirty Titoâs martini while R had the lemon drop. Mine was made right by the addition of more olive juice, hers was prefect and most refreshing. To eat I settled on the shrimp and grits and R had a burger with blue cheese and homemade chips. Her burger was cooked to order. My shrimp was delicious, so tender. I felt there was too much gravy on the grit cakes so their flavor was a bit lost. But the perfect mouthful of shrimp, grits and gravy, was certainly there last night many times. The service was fast but also not intruding. She refilled waters and asked just the right number of times if we were good. Surprisingly we were there for 2 1/2 hours and felt most comfortable.

Mountain State is much larger than it seems from the outside, plus it has two decks of outside seating. We chose to eat outside along the river, which was nice. It is also a working brewery, brewing beer onsite. We started with a buffalo chicken dip as an app finishing with a buffalo chicken pizza for dinner. We ordered the smaller of the two pizzas, and Iâm glad we did. The large is huge. The kids got a salad and a small cheese pizza. The food was good, and the beer was good as well. They do have a few specialty margaritas, My wife enjoyed hers, but my daughter was not wild about hers.

This cute little restaurant beckoned us for lunch one day, so we gave it a try. I ordered the turkey sandwich that had thick slices of turkey and a cranberry basil mayo spread. It was on thick bland white bread which did not help the sandwich. Due to large mass of bread, whatever flavor the sandwich may have had was lost. The accompanying salad was large, fresh and delicious. My wife's tomato basil soup was very good, but she wished she had chosen another salad to go with it. She didn't realize the apples in it were Granny Smith which she doesn't like. The raspberry scone we had was delicious. We ordered a pot of tea to share that was not completely full of water; thus, we did not get two cups each. The service was excellent, and in spite of what may sound like a somewhat negative review, we plan to eat there again and try the afternoon tea special.Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that we did not fully meet your expectations on everything. Most of our sandwiches do come on the ciabatta, however, you are always welcome to request another bread, such as wheat, rye or Italian if you would prefer. Our pots are 3 cup pots, and I will follow up with the staff to ensure they are filling the pots appropriately. We do hope that you will give us an other try in the future. Regards, Lisa
