Reviewed By pr0udsThe bathroom for female dormitary was super super dirty. The floor was wet all the time and i have to wait for long time for the que to take a shower. Very dirty bathroom , smelly and the bunk bed was very small. This is so inconvenience. The hotel is far from everyrhing , nothing around there you have to take a walk for more than 10 mins from the taichung main station as well as for the convenience store , bus stop. This place at night was quits dangerous for girls. I will not recommend this hotel due to the price is so unreasonable.

Booking.com did not mention it, and we didn't feel happy to park our brand new car in an open area a distance away from the hotel. The room we had was terrible! The furniture is old and scratched. The mattress is hard, the image of the TV is dark, and even trying to modify the color was in vain. The shower is in the bath with a hideous curtain hanging in the bath. When we looked on the Internet they advertised a different bathroom. The dining room looks like a Wedding Venue. Big, round tables with satin overlays! Really? Because the eggs were done earlier in the kitchen, they were cold and hard. We asked if we could get other eggs and within a short time they brought us eggs that were lovely. Thevonly other positive thing about this hotel is the staff. Alice and Kevin at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By bari_ttcThis a so called design hotel with fancy decoration, lobby is lovely and the check in service is ok. When I stepped in the lift, I can smell a strong odor of ditch which is very disgusting. Room is very simple with wired design, bathroom is not clean with hair on the floor. A bathtub in the middle of the room, I am sorry this kind of design is only fit for a 5 star luxury hotel. Breakfast is a nightmare, this is probably the worst breakfast buffet that I have ever seen. Never again.

Great Location
Reviewed By Peggy_intheworldThe Location is really convenient. It's my second time to choose stay here. It close to HSR shuttle bus station and the Breakfast also good in service as well. Chef is kind that he always say hello to every guest in different languages and helpful when you're not sure what the foods made it. Swimming pool and Sauna not that good as expected as NOT warm enough.

Terrible service
Reviewed By george966I booked a room and specifically remarked that I needed a parking space, as carrying lots of luggage , but the zero English proficiency front desk staff told me that the parking was full, again ( I reserved it one month in advance ), and send me to a parking lot about 1/2 km away with one piece of paper and no instructions at all about how to return to the hotel, besides the fact of not having the parking ready the thing that make me more angry is the attitude of the front desk staff, they insist about they told me that the parking was not available , well....still looking for the message where I made the reservation, AGODA.....definitely a pathetic service, if you can’t offer a service don’t advertise it....

Hotel with impractical design
Reviewed By Musings_MJDesign was too avant-garde to the point it was impractical. There was no wardrobe at all in the room - only a few coat pegs on the wall. We stayed in the room with 2 queen size beds with bathtub. Room was small with insufficient space if you are travelling with luggage unless you travel light. Room lighting was kept to a minimal which was not practical if you need to do work on laptop or read. Worse thing we encountered is that the room key had to be kept in the room key slot to keep the power running for the refrigerator. At first we did not know and removed the room key when we left the room and found that our drink in the room was not cold. While it is common in most hotels to cut off the power to save electricity if the room card key is removed, the power to the refrigerator will not be affected. Here, the hotel has made the decision to cut off power to the refrigerator which does not make sense if you were keeping perishables like fresh milk. This was important for us as we travelled with children and keep fresh milk in the refrigerator for them to drink before bedtime. To get around this problem, one room key has to be left in the room at all times. When this problem was highlighted to the hotel staff, they were nonchalant about it - which was rather disappointing. Hotel was new and modern which was why we chose it in the first place. But we will not recommend this hotel for families for the reasons highlighted above.

Rooms and bathrooms were well maintained, new modern looking and looked as close as their images on their website. No bathtubs but it didnt bothered us. Had a great and comfortable stay with a decent breakfast spread. Front desk was also helpful when we requested for an upgrade from Double room to a Quad room at additional NT1000. There is nothing interesting in close vicinity other than a foot massage parlour which opens to 2am which is about 10min walk away. Overall, a nice stay and will return for sure next time in Taichung. Highly recommended!

Good hotel, good location
Reviewed By Alina HF Hotel is set in a very convenient location, close to a mall and park, the breakfast is varied enough and, if you are unhappy with your options there are several restaurants and pizzeria close by. The room was spacious and clean, with good amenities and toiletries, one of the newer rooms of the hotel. Pleasant stay and would recommend to visitors.
