Recently , myself and several other parents, as well as the school, had reservations at this property for a school event we all looked forward to and were very excited to attend. Unfortunately, the morning of, the interstate was shut down due to severe ice and several wrecks on the. Because of this, all freshman and sophomore games were cancelled. Several parents called the hotel and explained the situation but they refused to work with anyone and do a cancellation. The money our basketball boys have worked so hard fundraising was took from them by this hotel. I would NEVER do this to a school or parents over a situation like this. There are several other hotels in Watertown with much better customer service. I can assure NO team, or sports function from our area will ever stay with this establishment again. Refusing to cancel a reservation will cost you much more in the long run!!

Reviewed By CJSTMA great find. A motel with a handicap accessible room that has two beds. Traveling with an elderly parent we look for this type of room and it's hard to find. All motels should offer accessible rooms with both one and two bed option. Added bonus this facility was clean from top to bottom. You won't find it done much better than this. With a friendly staff you can't lose by staying here.

Reviewed By biffnixWe stayed overnight to visit relatives, and found the My Place hotel to be *very* clean, very quiet, and had a pleasant stay. The linens were soft and warm, the towels were fairly fluffy. The shower had dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. They have a Keurig for coffee, which was nice, and much better than those terrible coffee-in-a-packet brewers that most hotels have these days. They had no breakfast service, but I suspect this is more of a pandemic and staffing related shortcoming. If you're looking for a breakfast buffet situation, they didn't have anything at all while we were there (April 18, 2022). Would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By croder273138The staff were great. We arrived early and we were able to check in early. It was nice having a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was wonderful being able to make waffles and have it early so we could make our medical appointment.

The Ramkota staff were very efficient and helpful in scheduling the block of rooms for our guests, check-ins went smoothly, and room requests were met for those who needed to be near each other or on the ground floor. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Minerva's Restaurant is a part of the complex and was easily accessible for the rehearsal dinner and a Sunday morning brunch. Notably, Deb went above and beyond when she provided cooler storage for the 30 freshly baked pies we arrived with! Her assistance with labeling, transporting, and storing them eased our schedule and allowed us to relax and enjoy the festivities. Would highly recommend!

Reviewed By Departure61979581466The staff was top notch, polite and extremely helpful. We stay here because of the pool and the grandkids love to come and swim at the water park. I was not sure about staying after it was taken over by BW but I’m not a sceptic now. The place was clean and in the process of a total update. I was in an older room but it was clean and the staff was wonderful. I did call down to the desk at about 10pm as kids were runny around and very noisy but they handled it immediately. This place will be great once the updates are done and I will not hesitate to stay here again!

Reviewed By fencejumperEconomy hotel, but clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast with yogurt, pastries (in plastic bags) and coffee. Be aware there is not elevator, and that can be a problem with a heavier suitcase. Staff was fine. Good location in centre of town. No hairdryers in room, which I have not seen in years.
