We recently went back to Connolly Chinese, ordered five main course takeaways and, well we were somewhat disappointed. Perhaps even felt they were all pretty average really (we're unsure if itâs the oil that they use or what?). Not sure where those âdelicious authentic cuisineâ reviews got their experiences from, but perhaps those dining in, is a different experience from their take-away, perhaps? We also noticed that in comparison to other Asian type restaurants around, for some reason their takeaway seems to be far more expensive - just for Chinese takeaway!

Ordered chicken curry, Mongolian chicken and beef chow mein.Chicken curry had a nice taste but very watery. Mongolian chicken was tasteless and once again watery. Beef chow mein was below average and very dissapointing.I won't be returning had far better elsewhere.

This used to be our local before we went up North. This was our first visit back in 18 months. We had the chicken satay sticks for entree (used to be 3 sticks for around $7-8 with delicious nutty satay sauce). It's now $7.80 for 2 with average satay sauce. No peanuts at all, no crispy noodles it used to sit on). We ordered 5 main meals + 2 large special fried rice for 6 of us. There was plenty of food, but it was definitely not how we remembered. Most disappointing of all was the special FR. It wasn't special. There were no chunks of meat of any kind. However, we did get about 4 king prawns per dish.Overall, very disappointed. We used to use Kim Hee as a guide for when we travelled. Will not return.

Travelled from Tapping to Quinns Rocks to sample the fare from this takeaway. Not disappointed. Order taken efficiently. Given number tag. Went to buy beer. Returned and food ready. Piping hot when we got back to the house. That much that 4 of us could not finish it. Tomorrows lunch !!!. Would definitely recommend.

Good selection of freshly cooked food normally friendly wait staff, tables and chairs a little old and dated.The one thing I found very annoying was the surcharge to use eftpos to pay the bill not a credit card but plain old savings or cheque account.

I'm fussy about my Chinese food and having tried a couple of new restaurants locally and then being a little disappointed, we were recommended to give New Panda in Mindarie a try. The food was amazing, service was great and the restaurant was well presented. It wasnât the cheapest Chinese restaurant, but having said that, it wasnât over the top. We ordered 9 different dishes and each one of them was amazing. A big plus, itâs totally BYO, including beer, wine and soft drinks. This saved me quite a bit of money.This Chinese restaurant will now be our place to go. Thanks so much to the chefs and staff at New Panda.
