Reviewed By Ica_DyThis got to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. As you arrive at the hotel the transfer pick-up that was arranged by the hotel was great. The person driving was extremely kind and he helped us to carry all our luggage and even offered to tour us around. The concierge is really kind, sadly I was not able to get the name. They were extremely accommodating. The interior of the hotel is so pretty and the rooms were comfortable and homey. The first day, the heater was working but the second day, it broke down and my mom had to ask someone to help us fix the heater. The staff was apologetic and gave us a new room to stay in and apologized for the inconvenience, and it was even an upgrade from our original room. He was willing to help and will do anything in order for us to have a memorable stay. He is one of the best staff that this hotel could have, The hotel also has a breakfast that comes with it and the food is phenomenal. The hotspot for breakfast every day is so good, the coffee tea duo is unbeatable. The place was extremely clean but it is self-service. There are staff to accommodate you if you need help, just a few walks there is a place that sells shaved ice dessert and it is soft and delicious. The hotel is also situated in an area where there are already a lot of shopping centers and around 10 minutes walk in order to go to the train station. The location is perfect and Taiwan is pretty small which taking the train is more than enough to explore the city.

Must have seat over 100 and offers Asia as well as western food choices. Our only complaint was the coffee. The room, although not large, was very modern with a great bathroom including heated toilet seat.

Very good location but rooms are old and need some work
Reviewed By Twinsen70Very good location but rooms are a bit old and a bit worn... I wouldnt complain for the price though.If you are just sleeping like us, it is probably ok but if you intend to spend much time in the room, probably a nicer hotel can be found nearby at a higher cost.

Not suitable for family with baby!!!
Reviewed By HakunaT88Rooms were very gloomy and small. Some of the rooms comes with steps too. So people with stroller will face problem in having to carry the stroller up and down in the room. Upon checked in, was given room with 2 combined single bed. As they do not provide baby cot, our baby will have to sleep in between us, but because of the combined bed, there’s a joint line in between which we foresee it will not be good for our baby to sleep on it. Then they suggest to do room change for us. The second room comes with very strong cigarette smell, the staff then suggest to ionize the room for 30 minutes before we move in. The smell was better after 30 minutes and we moved in. Come the second day when we return to the room after day out, we smelled a very strong cigarette smell again. The staff came and smell and suggest another room change. As they do not have any double room available, they do a “upgrade” for one night in a family room and mentioned we will have to do another room change the next day. Imagine having to do room change again with baby it is an ultimate hassle. In the end I told them we will pay extra for the rest of the 5 nights in the family room to avoid another room change. Next, the hotel got no freezer at all, so those exclusive pumping mummy do take note, you will not be able to freeze your breastmilk let alone freeze any ice pack or gel pack to bring it out during the day. You can only buy ice from the nearest bubble tea shop everyday to chill your milk when you’re out. The only consolation is, they do provide bathtub with a small stool. Oh yah, their housekeeping ladies are very friendly too. If only the receptionist behaved like them too.

Reviewed By ReGine_SH1123It's our first stay at this hotel. We stayed for another 2 nights when we returned from tc. We stayed on the 13th floor in different rooms. Both rooms are cosy. Staff are polite and helpful. They served a simple breakfast from 7-10/11am (forgot exact timing) at level 12 (hotel reception). Exact location would be quite near or opposite to YongHe Soya.There's a hotpot at the corner of the building. 5-10mins walk from xmd exit 6. Overall it's near to all foodies and shopping areas.

Reviewed By fishy78As the title suggested. Room is small and cramped. There is a small tv and a bathroom but it didn’t give me a feeling the place is clean. Entrance is via is an old smelly lift. Consolation is that it a right next to XiMenDing.

Very Spacious Room with all amenities except a view
Reviewed By James MWe liked it. We'll go back, but ask for a room with a view. It was a huge room and a huge bed, but a bit claustrophobic with no real natural light penetration. We didn't do the restaurant (who goes to Ximendeng to eat in a hotel?) but the menu looked good. Great huge bathtub which I wish we had made time to use. Shower is a bit of tight squeeze to get yourself in and then close the door, but that doesn't detract from the state of the art buttons and knobs. Front desk was super welcoming and helpful (it was our anniversary and they left us a slice of cheesecake and a card). Great location, minutes from Ximen station, which itself is one stop from Taipei Main Station.

Aesthetically Hotel Interior with Award Winning
Reviewed By Han Chung KA very small boutique hotel with just 9 rooms in total. From outside the hotel looks aesthetically very minimalist and beautiful. Even the hotel life is very small and maximum can hold only 2 persons inside. Or you can use their Instagrammable steps to upstair. From my room you could get a beautiful view of Longshan Temple that just situated beside. Even though the temple is very busy among the locals and tourists, you won’t hear the noise from the room. The open kitchen is located at the top floor of the hotel and you could use it to have your food. (no food provided but nearby have lots of restaurants) Do note that there’s no safe in the room. So it might be a hassle for you if you need to keep some valuable items inside.

Surrounded by a lot of delicious local food. Room is very clean and comfortable. Do not feel hesitate to stay in when you are going to Taipei ?
