Our accomodation is located in a wonderful and very peacful valley in east Iceland- Vopnafjordur. We have two well equipped cottages, one with hot tub and a guesthouse with 7db rooms and one triple. Our restaurant "HJA OKKUR" offer local food, lamb from our farm and trout from the vicinity. SLOW FOOD. Sireksstadir farm is just 40min from road nr 1. Drive rd 85 for 30 min then take rd 920 to the right and 919 to right and drive for 5 min to Sireksstadir farm. We welcome you to Sireksstadir farm. We also offer daytrips to Langanes peninsula,village sight-seeing and to the highlands.
Great and quiet place
Reviewed By SpacialThis is a far from everything place, very quiet and calm, ideal to rest. Was easy to drive (with maps app). The staff was helpful (including NELSON - the black dog that is amazing). They have laundry and a restaurant. I got a BIG northern lights (aurora) there, could se from my bed.

Incredible! No need to camp to come here
Reviewed By GlynCarreÁsbrandsstaðir Cottage & Camping is just terrific, set in wonderful countryside just outside a small town which has N1 fuel station and supermarket. They have good facilities for camper vans with power hook-up, however you don't need to camp to stay. The Cottages (there are about three) are simple, modern and well appointed. Parking just outside the doors. Rooms have a coffee maker and small stove. En-suite. There is a great shared facility nearby with a kitchen, dining area, showers, laundry facilities. All maintained perfectly. The owners at the farm next door are incredibly friendly and helpful. They now have a strong fibre 5g Wi-Fi connection installed, however realistically this works around the shared facility and cannot be expected to cover all the additional rooms and caravan sites - it works really well.

Hotel Tangi is located in the center of the town Vopnafjordur next to the harbour. We offer 4 rooms with a private bath and a TV.One room is accessible for disabled.There are 13 dbl. rooms on the upper floor with a basin but shared wc and showers.On the ground floor is a sitting area with a TV, restaurant and a bar.
Welcoming and pleasant hotel in remote location
Reviewed By StephenK969As gay travelers, we very much appreciated seeing the rainbow flag at the Hotel Tangi when we drove up, given its remote location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodations and food perfectly pleasant.

Amazing location!
Reviewed By Curiosity809908Really nice place with a bathroom shared with others. No problems there. Comfortable beds. Amazing location. On the shore of the Arctic sea. Fantastic sun set followed the next day by bright sunshine. The only totally sunny day in our 3 week stay in Iceland. I would certainly recommend this place for an overnight

La casa nel nulla in Islanda
Reviewed By MasterOfMobilesÈ la classica casa sperduta nel nulla islandese e passarci una notte è stato piacevole. La casa è grande, su due piani, ci sono diverse camere e un ampio soggiorno con cucina separata in cui abbiamo fatto una cena di gruppo senza alcun problema. Fuori c'è un cancello che porta al giardino che circonda la casa anche se, considerando l'ambiente circostante, potrebbe essere anche superfluo.
