While driving to NY on Christmas Eve, we arranged to meet friends at Guido's because they got such good reviews on TripAdvisor. When we got there, Guido's was closed for the day. We looked across the parking lot and saw Mario's. Rather than try to arrange a meeting at another location, we simply walked across and gave it a try. It was pretty empty, so we had good service. The prices were reasonable and the food was good.

One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants was closed for vacation, so we decided to go to Marioâs Italian Restaurant around the corner. The Italian decor featured pictures and wall hangings from the old country. It has an open, casual, family-friendly atmosphere. The seating consists of an area for celebrating a special occasion with a large group and an area for individual diners. The menu boasts a large variety of Italian dishes and encompasses appetizers, salads, entrees, pizzas, subs, wraps, dessert, and more. We dined on spaghetti with meat sauce (very tasty), a pizza steak sub (yummy!) with fries, coffee and water. The wait staff was friendly â service good â and ample portions of food for the cost.

We love Vito's. The family owned local favorite has authentic Italian cuisine and I have never had a bad meal! Vito's is a sure thing!

My once a month splurge is a Philly Cheesesteak with French Fries. This visit I had the small sub with onion rings. My server was friendly and gracious and had my tea out in a flash. The Cheesesteak and Onion rings came out piping hot and tasty. Their prices are very reasonable for this lunch special. The meal and tip comes to about $10.00. Don't go looking for ambiance but do go expecting good food and service at a reasonable price.

I just happened to notice this new pizza joint next to the Kroger on Rittenhouse Dr and was so pleasantly surprised! I had the "white" mushroom pizza with truffle oil and it was absolutely delicious. Their arugula salad was so fresh and flavorful! I can't wait to go back to sample other menu items as well as their craft beer selection!

Our waitress wasnât the most pleasant person. We had spaghetti and meatballs & chicken parmigiana, which were both very good. They only give a salad with a select few meals. So my husband shared the salad that came with the chicken parmigiana with me, the dressing wasnât very good but ok. If they improve the service and give a little dinner salad they could get a better grade.

Small dining area but mostly a delivery business for the locals I assume. Still 6-8 tables for dine in. Pizza was on point and staff was friendly. Sadly the âI want to see your managerâ lady was next to us. So nasty even my 14 year old daughter mentioned how irrational she was. Lol overall great food. Take time to find this pizza! Thanks for the great review! And, ya know there's just gotta be that one person...!

We stopped here for lunch after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The pizza, while not just like those in NY, was absolutely delicious. As far as another reviewer saying that the owner, from NY, has an abrupt manner............the servers we encountered all were friendly and attentive, and for pizza as delicious and fresh as this they could have been abrupt and we wouldn't have cared. :) Well worth the short detour from I-95.
