We went in for a quick lunch and were all,very pleased with what we ordered. We had hibachi (beef for me, chicken for my companions) over noodles (white or fried rice also available). They also had some nice looking sushi that none of us tried. We enjoyed our lunch and I'd come back again.

This restaurant is good for a diner who hopes to have light meal.By boiling everything(meat, seafood, vegetable and etc) in the soup, it becomes digestible. Even though we ate too much(comparison to our average intake), we didn't feel like going on a binge.However, I gave them 4 stars because I think the meats can be improved. They were little tough. Last, we had all you can eat on shabu shabu.

I asked if they served katsudon, and the waitress said it's not on the menu, but they could make it for me. I was very happy with commitment to except service, but it wasn't quite right. I would probably have been better off just getting something off the lunch special menu.

Our go-to local sushi place near Chantilly, Va., notable for friendly service (particularly if you are a regular) and simple, relatively inexpensive sushi. The food is quickly prepared and presented in an attractive manner. We typically order iced tea, a house salad, California roll, rainbow roll and shrimp tempura roll. It might be a problem if we tried to order something else! They know what we want when they seat us and often surprise us with a little something extra. When we came with our two-year-old granddaughter one evening, she was treated like a queen (it was fun to see her trying to eat "bunny food," edamame, with chopsticks). We haven't tried the lunch buffet.

Saturday night to Tomo, our first time. Friendly and efficient service. We ordered sushi - really good, including the correct type of "sushi rice" important to its success. We got tuna, salmon, salmon roe, yellow tail, scallops, white tuna aka escolar, and shrimp. Also, fried oysters...also delicious. The miso soup could have been stronger, ditto ditto the green tea. (Perhaps both have been altered to appeal to the American palette.)Traditionally, "izakaya" or "Japanese tapas" means just that - small dishes designed as a light meal.Yes, we'll go back. Tomo is conveniently located near the huge H Mart Korean grocery store as well as the fabulous Spa World.

Here for dinner with colleagues -- looking for good sushi. They definitely had excellent sushi at very reasonable prices. Our server was very friendly but she didn't do much to offer explanations of their menus or selections. I get the feeling that most of the clientele here are regulars and know exactly what they want when they walk in the door. It certainly appeared that way from those dining around us.Aside from that it was terrific.
