Beautiful piece of paradise

What a wonderful little Chambre set deep in then provincial area of vidauban. We were attending a wedding nearby, and stayed 3 nights in Room 1 - which was inside the house. Nothing was too much trouble - to the point that because the local taxi driver was on Holiday, she was going to give us a lift!! (we ended up making other arrangements, but appreciated the offer).

La Bastide d'Einesi

The old country-house of Einesi is a big building of character of the XVIIth century, in the middle of vineyards, in a pleasant and quiet place, in the middle of Provence. With its stone walls, its South colours, its privative terraces, the private rooms AMANDINE, OCEANE and TERRACOTTA will bring you the relaxation. In the Old country-house of Einesi, the greed is allowed, especially when it is about dany home made marmelades! Your breakfast is served under wisterias or under a small terrace in bamboo.

Excellent!

We reserved a room last minute and got the opportunity to stay in the gite instead (little appartment). We stood there for 5 nights. Dany, the host, was really friendly and welcoming, giving us lots of advises of where to go and where to eat (listen to her!!). The appartment had everything that we needed, washing machine, ironing possibility - so just perfect. We even had a little terrace where we could do a barbecue. The breakfast included was done with lots of love and attention. My husband even got an egg every morning - which is not French at all! Our Jack Russell dog felt happy as well, being able to run around at her ease. The house is also located on a little hill surrounded by vineyards, really romantic. I would return with pleasure. Thank you Dany for everything!

Sanitary installations

In this domain there is one major issue, the toilets at the bar and the showers and the toilets next to the pool are not only totally worn out and giving a cheap impression, but one wonders if they fulfill the requierements of the covid 19 regulations

What a delight

Reviewed By Farmer_Terry

What a delight this hotel is. Four of us stayed here one night as part of a cycle ride from Derby in the UK to Monte Carlo, so by the time we had got to Vidauban – day 8 of 9 - we knew our way round modestly priced French hotels. This was the best of the trip by a long chalk. It's small (12 rooms) but the lady who runs it (Patron?) couldn't be more helpful. What time is breakfast? What time would you like it? When is dinner served? When would you like it? The rooms are not huge (by UK standards) but neither are they small and the views from the back of the hotel are of flowers, Provencal roofs, and wooded hills. Despite the N7 nearby there is very little noise, and for me the crowning glory was that, despite temperatures around 30, it was cool. Parking is no problem, and the wireless internet worked well, and seemed fast by my standards (but I live in a rural part of Derbyshire). The evening meal, which was cooked there and then by the same lady, was excellent as was breakfast the next day. Things to criticise - can't really find anything other than the unsurprising fact that in the middle of one of France's great wine regions, they don’t serve draught beer, although there were cans - three hot, thirsty cyclists and one hot, thirsty support driver drank the entire stock. We didn’t experience the curfew that others report, but we wouldn’t have done, because we didn’t go out, so I can offer no comment on that. I would stay here again like a shot. Ask for a room at the back.

A nice building

Reviewed By david s

This hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre down a track in the middle of a field. A nice looking building that is in a very quiet location. There is no reception area you enter into a large room with a kitchen. Its all a bit surreal as the room appears to go on and on, it certainly doesn't feel like a hotel. The building is old and it feels it.Our room was very large with a good sized bathroom. Unfortunately there was no warm water on the two days we stayed. Internet very poor only available at one end if the hotel, signal very weak. Breakfast poor, a small bowl of fruit each and a small piece of bread. Overall not a great experience and certainly not worth what they charge.
