My family and I were staying at the Lodge for a week and made reservations at Johnny Seesaw's for our first dinner in Vermont. The food was amazing. Luckily, we were there on one of the special Prime Rib nights (Thursdays and Saturdays). We are from Philadelphia, so we have had our share of "good" food from some excellent restaurants. However, the prime rib was the best that I have ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how I requested. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. We ended up eating there 5 nights during our stay because the food was so delicious. During the course of our stay we tried alot of different items on the menu between the 4 of us. Everyone came away completely satisfied (and full) each time. Definitely try the poutine and rhubarb strawberry strudel!Thank you so much for your review! We loved having you and your family stay with us at Seesawâs Lodge. And even better that you so thoroughly enjoyed your dinners at Johnny Seesawâs that it became your restaurant of choice in the area. We hope to welcome you back again when youâre in Vermont!

In a region known for high quality farm to table dining experience, Chantecleer is at the top of the list. Our group of five tried a variety of appetizers and entrees, and everyone was impressed. One local couple in our party has dined here many times and has never been less than very impressed with the experience. The food is outstanding and included many specials. The service was superb and very personal. We highly recommend Chantecleer.Thank you, happy you have friends in this beautiful part of the country, looking forward o your next visit, cheers

Went to this BYOB restaurant with some friends and ate like kings. The servings were enormous. The bonus of course is that you can bring your own alcohol and drink at your leisure. There is a 7 Eleven one minute away that you can buy wine, beer or spirits.

Lovely boutique restaurant, with only 6 tables, and a couple of bar spots available. Highly recommend booking in advance as unlikely to get in otherwise. Food was wonderful, service attentive -really glad we visited.

Celebrated a big birthday for my lovely sister in law with family. Food was awesome as usual, great staff. The Deerhill is a beautiful inn in West Dover Vt. The dinning rooms are relaxed, country beautiful.

Iâm not sure what the hype is all about. The âVermont Cheddarâ is apples in melted cheddar cheese - seriously? Drinks were just ok, the apps too. Entrees were also ok. Servers were professional and friendly. Food quality was good but not exceptional. Wiener Schnitzel was pounded too thin and dry. Duck was good but the same duck we have everywhere. This is a decent restaurant in a Valley with some bad restaurants which does not make it great. I expected a bit more.
