Reviewed By nextra73We stayed there for 3 night in June and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is really helpful. Excellent breakfast included with our apartment. Location is just great, bike lane takes you pretty much everywhere in town. Really recommend it.

Great and Nora on reception and the russian lady in the restaurant were amazing. Breakfast was awesome, so much choice and lots of food. We will return for sure !

Reviewed By BlikoflGreat location for this fully, I mean fully, equipped aparthotel: ironing board to washing machine; real oven to coffee maker...the works. You will not need anything except your food. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern although some large folks will have an issue with the small shower stall. The property is located two blocks from the metro and right across the street from a huge department store. Check out the supermarket in the basement. PIO XII is a great value for your money.

Reviewed By Senga_GlenFantastic place to stay! Centrally located, very close to the Plaza de la virgen, but in a very quiet street and so just seconds from bars and restaurants, and the cathedral. Lovely, spacious apartment. Very clean. Bathroom stocked with a good selection of toiletries, and a hairdryer too. Good WiFi. Very friendly staff - the receptionist was very helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great potential but zero soundproofing
Reviewed By SrdjanVukoticOur apartment had great location, was fairly clean and staff was friendly and polite, but HUGE downside was zero soundproofing between apartments. We were there with our 4yo son and was unfortunate to have people on the same floor which were coming to their room hours after midnight and you could hear EVERYTHING, from toilet flushing, to showering, walking around in high heels, door slamming, etc. Like they were literally in our apartment and that kept waking us up almost every night of our stay. We were also told that we must wash all the dishes before we leave, which was a bit unexpected, since they have cleaning service. :)

Mon Suites Catedral is a group of refurbished four story old town apartments surrounding two delightful courtyards, these provided lovely atmosphere to our stay as the sound of diners enjoying their paella drifted up to our top floor balcony, the sound proof doors allowing us to turn it off if things got too celebratory... Large spacious apartments, very clean and well appointed, comfy firm beds with spare pillows and duvets, thick luxury towels, hot powerful shower in bath, full kitchen with fridge freezer (but no ice tray?), hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher and even washing machine - amazing how it's all fit in. Location perfect - could see tower bell from balcony, lots of restaurants within minutes of the door Welcome gift in fridge was very appreciated thank you Mon Suites! Not sure how you could have made our trip to Valencia more perfect (maybe an ice tray?)

Reviewed By Leonid ZThis is a budget hotel and offers value for money. The location is perfect, very centrally located, close to all points of interest. The automatic check-in process, though sounded cumbersome at first, in fact, went very well. The room was small but totally fine for a hotel in a historic center. It was very clean and well equipped for its size. The bed was comfortable. WiFi worked well. For the money I paid and for one night in Valencia it was fine. On the negative side, the room didn't really have a window, only a small opening in the appendix leading to the door, which opened to a tiny courtyard. This alone gave the room a gloomy look. Plus, the WC was separated from the room by a thin and semi-transparent glass wall! I would appreciate a bit more... privacy! That was quite odd. Finally, the soundproofing was close to none, and I could easily hear other guests arguing or, to tell you the truth, having sex. I mean, I don't mind people enjoying themselves, but as long as I don't have to listen to their moans.

Reviewed By vent0821I purchased two loft reservation with OH MY LOFT company and was advised the day of check in, that one of the rooms had suffered damages by the previous attendant. The hotel personnel Natalia offered a 50 percent refund on the damaged room. Upon arriving to the said damaged loft, I reviewed the damages and noticed that they simply jabbed a metal stick in the terrace door to prevent it from falling and they put a plastic bag and taped it to the wall of the damaged ceiling with the leak. This said bag immediately fell apart due to the tape not being able to withstand the moisture of the continued leak. Immediately after the bag fell, the leak persisted and we had to use towels to dry it. The leak was located in the second bathroom, above the shower. I was informed by Expedia that they haven’t received any calls from Natalia. I decided to personally go to the reception office and was met a guy there.He proceeded to tell me that they won’t be giving me a refund because they “fixed” the issue. I explained to him that they didn’t fix anything and even so, I was not made aware that the refund would no longer be given to me. That was not what was said to me by Natalia. He proceeded to belittle me and talk over me and was very disrespectful. I’ve been a customer of Expedia for several years and I am continuously booking through their company. This unfair treatment and uncomfortable stay at this loft was simply unacceptable. Do not book. They also refused to replenish the toiletries and the towels and sheets. I stayed here for three nights and 4 days and they couldn’t replenish it as it was not in their policy. Something that is not even listed on Expedia. DO NOT BOOK. At you’re own risk.
