Reviewed By MARY BThe rooms seemed small and a tad "well used" but everything was very well maintained. Having selected a room at the back, we had a beautiful sunset. About 5-6 men were having a very quiet meal around the fire pit below--a nice amenity (the fire pit, not the men). The breakfast was very ample, with fresh fruit and all the usual Hampton items attended by an exceptionally pleasant woman. My only grumble: no dark roast!

Reviewed By Judy BWe had some local issues to address in nearby town. Had to stay 6 days. The hotel staff and accommodations were warm and inviting. Had use of free laundry room. One fee for pet to stay. Nice social areas for company, adequate parking, quiet location, guests were respectful to each other, felt safe in area outside of hotel walking pet at night.

Reviewed By MarciaPKMy husband stayed here last night on business travel and was not pleased with the accomodations. There was hair in the bathtub left by the previous guest, but his biggest complaint was downstairs in the morning. He went down at 8:15 and found the steam table pans all but empty...if you cared to scrape the bottom of the pans. But NO COFFEE. He told the front desk there was none and was asked what kind he wanted...just regular coffee! When none was provided in a reasonable waiting time, he just drank orange juice and ate a few things but still wanted coffee. Back to the front desk again and was asked again "what kind of coffee do you want?" Four other men waiting for coffee left as they appeared to need to get to work and left as did my husband who had to get on the road. The two large women at the front desk were more engaged talking with each other than apparently seeing that the breakfast service remained available until the posted closing time. This is Fairfield, not a low budget hotel and customers should receive much better quality than was provided for the Stay April 5-6.

Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators (and elevator buttons), door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys. Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, laundry rooms and staff offices. Please note: Limited to individually packaged danish and muffins, coffee and juice. When Travel Brings to you Wheeling/Triadelhia or the Cabela's Area. We offer Many choices. We have Indoor Pool and Hot tub and with our new building addition you have Choice to Brand New suites with plenty of Amenities.

Reviewed By MARY BIf you care about Covid precautions, this is not the place for you. Nobody wore a mask, sanitizer was scarce, and I doubt--given those conditions--that the room furnishings, TV remote, etc had been sanitized. The staff was welcoming, and other than the need to do the sanitizing myself, i felt comfortable here with the competent and friendly staff. This is an older property, but it appears to be well maintained and has nice amenities. The pool and hot tub were delightful--after the two very loud children who occupied the entire pool for well over an hour left. (Management should post a sign suggesting time limits so all guests can use the pool!) Although I asked for a room at the rear to minimize noise, I was given one facing the highway traffic. I was too tired to ask for another. Bottom line, I'm not sure I would return. But that hot tub was nice!
