Great Location to "take the waters."
Reviewed By Dana EWithin walking distance (5 minutes) to public and private thermal pools, as well as having one on the premises. Our room was great, big, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was filling. Hot and cold options, though a little light on fruit. Our room door wouldn’t lock every time, but it was manageable. We wouldn’t have traded the room anyway.

We are a small family-friendly motel; family owned. Our rooms are log-cabin style with completely new bathrooms, flat screen tv's, refrigerator, microwave and free wi-fi. We have a triple queen suite room and double queen suites,as well bunk bed rooms for kids. We are close to the Hot Springs State Park, Yellowstone National Park, and canoeing, boating, fishing, hunting and hiking.

We had booked and paid for a hotel at the Best Western, when we arrived they told us they overbooked their hotel and gave us a refund. We stopped at several hotels before we found this place. We went in and asked if they had rooms, they did! We told them about our bad experience at the other Hotel. They gave us a discount for our room, and we got checked in. The Hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. The best experience was the staff. The manager was so sweet. She made sure we were comfortable, and checked in on us a few times. She was the best! When we left we thanked her for everything and she gave us a little lavender cross for our car for safe travels. We would highly recommend this property if you want reassurance there are still great people in this world!

She went above and beyond what would be expected, and is an authentic caring person. Our hotel room had all the needed ammenities... coffee, coffee maker, microwave, wifi, etc. The view from the room overlooks their own private park and glorious mountains! Nicest views from any hotel in town! Cleanest hotel in town! Priced right! If you are planning a visit to Thermopolis, then this is THE best hotel in town. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, relaxing... and we made a new friend in the proprietor! They are ranked #1... as I stated, I have stayed in the "other" highly rated hotels, and this is by far the best one... hands down!!!!

Dated disaster in disrepair
Reviewed By flyfish307Not a lot of selection in this town but this hotel has seen better days. Outside key entry broke. Dead bolt in room hanging off the screws. Advertised pool apparently has been in “repair” for months. A joke of a breakfast. Thin walls, you could hear everything the person next door was saying. Everything here is probably 30 years old. Tiny tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles - maybe enough for 1 person. The only plus was it had a room with a bunk bed. Just an odd place overall.

We are a small 10 room motel on the NE side of Thermopolis, WY across the street from the Fairgrounds, Schools, Taco Johns and 1/2 or less walk to the Big Horn River and Hot Springs State Park!

Reviewed By swimchickmleWe tried booking a couple of other hotels, but they were all booked, so this was our next option. The hotel is older, and shows, but it is very clean. I loved the soap and shampoo. I was impressed with how nice it was for how old and small it was. I prefer a little more room, but when I procrastinate and wait until a day before booking, it’s my fault. The only issue I had was that the website says the pet fee is $10, but it’s apparently $20 now.

Reviewed By ErinC996The hotel front desk staff was great. The hotel rooms were okay it was a place to stay for the night and enjoy the hot springs. As for the Restaurant part AWFUL!! Our food was served cold when I notified the waitress she was not helpful at all. She let me know that she contacted her manager and she stated He is at home sick and he will offer 25 percent off. Okay but not okay. Nobody ate there food my husbands shrimp had a bite taken out of it and all she said was oh sorry not sure what happened. Who wants to eat cold mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak. After I went out front to cool off I was informed by the front desk that there wasn’t a male manager. So when I went to pay I asked the waitress about this and she argued with me yet again. Telling me that she never said that. Whatever happened to the customer is right and service these days. I have worked in a hotel before and man we didn’t argue with our guests or tell lies to our guests. I do understand help is hard to find now a days but don’t just hire anyone especially that can’t do there job.

Reviewed By Tim SMy wife and I stopped here at the last moment on the way to Yellowstone. We were very happy with our room...it was spacious and clean. Also, the owners are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is also pet-friendly which is super important to us as we travel with our dog. I would be most happy to stay here again.

Our smoke free hotel offers friendly service at an economical value. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, in room coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, and cable TV with ESPN and FOX news. For the large family or group, ask us about our large suites with 3 beds and separate bedrooms.
Clean but very dated. Bathroom tub is disgusting . Lady at office is very friendly and nice. No value for the money
Reviewed By pennys947This motel is very clean but dated. The pillows are horrible, bed was ok. The shower head is placed in the middle of the shower!!! So weird!! There is also no way of cooling your room, no a/c. Lady at desk is extremely friendly and helpful. Would not stay there again for the money we spent.
