Nice Hotel
Reviewed By C0upc0upClean, Accessible, relatively modern hotel. Pool seemed nice, it was too cold out the days we were there to try it though. Walking distance to downtown Rambouillet. Relatively close to the train station. Good staff. We'll stay there again on our next trip.

Worst Ibis budget I've visited
Reviewed By Matt HWe have used Ibis budget hotels for many years as we travel through France. This was the worst we have stayed in. Rooms dirty, beds sheets not clean, staff disinterested and unhelpful. Hotel hard to find with no signage. Hotels needs to be refurbished and staff retrained. They are letting down the brand and company.

Nice place - 15 min walk into town...
Reviewed By iamallovertheplaceArrived here by bike and cycled past it twice, even though I knew where it was...I am going to say that is because from the outside, it looks like the local water company’s head office rather than a hotel. Nonetheless, once inside the staff were excellent and tried to help me resolve an issue I had with my GPS. My room on the top floor was fine. The hotel does have a corporate feel about it, which is no bad thing. It’s a 15 minute walk into the town, a bit more to the lovely Château grounds. WiFi wasn’t great - seemed to be fine then went very slow. Anyway, it was a good stay overall.

Good value accomodation at a reasonable distance from Rambouillet town centre

I only have two criticisms a) when I arrived for breakfast at 9.50am there was virtually no food!Eventually some bread came out of the kitchen, however the hotel seemed quite unprepared. b) I emailed the manager in advance to request a discount as I had booked a double room, but ultimately my wife did not stay, however I received no response to my request.

Reviewed By benemar76Disorganised office staff directed us to a pitch already occupied, then repeated the same mistake again so I just took a vacant pitch and told them the next day. The entire site has a general malaise of under investment and poor and neglected maintenance. The swimming pool was “not available at present.” The wifi was “not available at present as we have just changed companies and are waiting for the new router…’. We visited the restaurant at lunchtime for a meal, “we are only taking orders for Pizzas that will be available at 6pm this evening…” A 2 night stay at 34 euros per night for a motorhome pitch with electricity was a huge disappointment.

Reviewed By nealcooperTruly awful! Dirty, cold no facilities. My room was never cleaned, bed was never made and fresh towels never supplied. The shower was broken and mould and dirt was in the shower tray. Charged 11 euros for breakfast which consisted of 1 coffee, 1 croissant and 1 piece of bread. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The dirtiest bathroom I've ever seen
Reviewed By LynneFranceWe did not book this hotel in advance as we were caught up in traffic and it was getting late. We are very well seasoned travellers and have stayed in1 star hotels and 5 star hotels but I can honestly say this was the worst. The reception area smelt and the bedroom was not any better. The wind was howling through the windows, the television did not work and I did not sleep as judging on the state of the bathroom I did not want to look at the state of the mattress. The bathroom was absolutely filthy and there is no excuse. It is not rocket science, a bit of elbow grease and a bit of bleach et voila!!! I would have asked to change but the reception was closed for the night. I truly horrendous place to stay.
