Reviewed By JoAnn PBreakfast was HORRIBLE, no change in eggs, juice was bad. Mini ridge sat on the floor. Room was NEVER cleaned even at my request to be cleaned. Room key had problems. We travel a lot and stay at Hampton Inn and Hilton hotels all the time and this particular Hampton Inn needs A LOT of work. They could not even print out my receipt at check out.

Reviewed By David PSpouse and I spent two nights, as in town for a wedding. Facility is attractive and well maintained. The grounds, particularly, are neat, clean, and kept up in a professional manner. Staff was knowledgeable, exceptionally friendly, and helpful. Could have benefited from a floor lamp in the dark corner adjacent to the sofa, and a small coffee table, rather than a tiny tray table, in front of the sofa. Overall, the breakfast was good, but only whole milk (no reduced or nonfat) was available, while only reduced fat (not regular) cream cheese was present. The "Business Center" is small, and the program available for us to use to create a document was Windows 7 (really?!) The price was the going rate for the area, but I would view the facility as neither a bargain nor a ripoff. We would consider staying there again if the need should arise.

Shaky start, but the good ending

NEGATIVE: when we walked in our room and checked all the points of cleanliness it was obvious to us that except of making the beds with UNCHANGED linens and placing the towels room wasn't clean up at all. POSITIVE: a) Front desk people (Megan and the others) were very welcoming, informative and concerned about the problem with our room. b)The room was spacy and comfortably appointed and maintained for a disable person. c)Breakfast was very good and location is great with access to shopping and good restaurants close by. d) A plus was a swimming pool, but we didn't use it this time. So, why 4** rating in spite of a not a good start of our stay? The main reason is the way the management handled our issues. General manager named Ryan was quick to fix it by directing housemaid Librada to do a full cleaning of the room (and she did a great job doing so), as well as being so kind to offer a points compensation for inconvenience, which we were appreciative for. And from that point our stay was great, and we are thinking of revisiting this place when in the area again and hopefully next time our review will start with 5**.

Gwen at the front desk was so incredibly warm and friendly to my whole family, including my two dogs. Great amenities for those traveling with pets, including dog treats in the lobby, a sticker for the door that indicated a pet was in the room, and an area with waste bags outside. The room and hotel were immaculately clean. Wonderful free breakfast with fresh fruit and many hot and cold items. Coffee was delicious, hot and fresh. We asked to borrow a DVD to watch and Gwen helped us pick one out. The woman at the front desk in the morning was also lovely but I didn't catch her name. I don't usually leave reviews but this hotel was so great in every way that I just had to send my compliments. Overall, perfect stay that made us look forward to coming back.

Exceptional Stay at Residents Inn in Glen Mills
Reviewed By CallieGrace1I recently spent the weekend at the Residents Inn in Glen Mills, for my best friend’s wedding. I am not the biggest fan of hotels in general, but from the moment we walked into this hotel, my mind began to feel at ease. The hotel is clean, the rooms were nicer than expected, and every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful. We had a relatively large group staying at the hotel and when we checked in, our rooms were all changed by the front desk clerk (without us requesting anything of her) so that everyone was on the same floor. This detail made a huge difference, especially as a member of the bridal party. Coordinating with one another felt easy and convenient all weekend. However, the reason I am taking the time to write this review is because of the front desk associate, Keith, who works the night shift at the hotel. I actually became familiar with Keith’s name prior to our stay. I called him quite a few times within the days leading up to the weekend, about availability for an early check in. I somehow spoke with the same associate every time, and he was so patient and polite in explaining the hotel policy and suggesting a solution. He offered to give me an availability update each time I called, so that I could have an idea regarding the probability of an early check in, and adjust my travel plans accordingly. During our stay, Keith continually went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was having a wonderful stay. He also remembered many of us by name, which showed how much he values the guests of the hotel. Keith’s level of customer service was so exceptional to us that we made sure to stop before we left to ask him how we could either contact his manager or leave a review, to make sure his service and generosity didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Keith, for your kindness and hospitality. You are a great asset to the Marriott company.

Horrible experience
Reviewed By CATTSARThis was a very bad choice. When I first pulled in I was impressed with the surrounding wooded area. However it was down hill from there. I paid in full, $228. including $40. for my Cat. I had requested a non smoking room but it really wasn't! The faint smell of clove, burn holes on the bed spread and the dirty ashtray were a dead give away. I was told there were no other rooms available. The walls were heavily pocked and the towels and wash clothes were a disgrace!! They were no more then rags. However! in all fairness I will admit that new floors and appliances had been installed. The tub and shower unit were clean and brand new. This was poorly represented.
