Great little motel, clean and comfy
Reviewed By _denisejnichollsWe stayed in the 2 bedroom unit at this older style but very good motel. It is on the highway but set back from the road so very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very cosy. The staff were very helpful, and recommended the local pub for a meal, and it was spot on.

Reviewed By ralphwhoOn our journey home from Melbourne we took 3 instead of 2 nights, arriving in Gilgandra after a long, 'road blocked because of flooding' day. Our host was a delight, and the renovations she is doing at the motel are really quite lovely. Our room had an excellent bed and was wonderfully renewed. Yes, it's an old country motel, but it's being renewed and it was a really satisfying place to stay. Our host's recommendation for dinner was spot on too - The Royal Hotel (I'm off to do that review when I finish this one). We will be back I'm sure.

Reviewed By marshfishThis was a very reasonable motel a little off the Newell Highway. The staff were ready to accommodate our early arrival. The room was well appointed and the bed gave us a good night’s sleep The Lachlan River was close by for an afternoon walk. A v dry quiet town on a Saturday afternoon Nearby is a Chinese restaurant that we used for our evening meal.

An excellent country stay
Reviewed By Stephen WWe couldn't have asked for a better stay for our two days in Gilgandra. The room was very comfortable and great value. Our hosts were wonderful and provided us with good dinners and breakfasts. The extensive grounds were very pleasant and kept us away from any road noise.

Lovely stay
Reviewed By RoadtripperKKSandy and Laurie are very welcoming and show genuine interest in you. Little touches like home baked snacks, bed turn down with a chocolate on the pillow. Warm thick towels, very very comfortable bed which was very welcome after a long drive. Lovely history of the house and breakfast was a treat. Chinnock is a brilliant house with a great history. Would definitely stay here again

Reviewed By bI6479HXWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow Motel it was fabulous. Clean Queen Room with all we needed Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Fridge, comfy bed, and INSTANT hot shower. Flat screen TV with free Netflix. For the rate they charge it was Incredible value, dog stayed for free in one of their designated pet friendly rooms. Loved it, highly recommend to anyone. Country hospitality at its best!

Reviewed By AntinmelbQuaint little 10 room place, standard amenities, have a good shower, airconditioning fridge ( on the bench no bending so that was good) even a carport, which was the first time ive seen that. No pool or anything else but this is a small town with a few places to stay and this one was ok, the chap checking you in was friendly too.

Reviewed By garydG6047FWRooms are clean and modern. Big 3D television with a selection of movies. Quiet new split system AC. Plenty of hot water, located close to restaurants and shops. Walking path to information centre for morning exercise. Reception lady very friendly and helpful with places to see in the town.
