Extremely disappointed in the owner.

Reviewed By Tabatha A

Extremely disappointed. The owner Brett should be ashamed for ripping off people in a state of emergency. We booked a room for this weekend, unfortunately we could not make it due to the state wide flood emergency. My grandmother called to let the business know that it would be unsafe for us to drive this morning and that we wouldn’t be able to make it due to road closures. She asked if we would be able to transfer the credit to next weekend to which the presumed owner was incredibly rude, refusing a credit and told her he has a business to run. Any other circumstances and this would be understandable as we respect business policy, however in a state of emergency, the Australian Consumer Law under Travel and Accommodation states Cancellation because of a natural disaster or other crisis – frustration of contract A crisis such as a bushfire or flood may lead some guests to postpone or cancel their visit. Your rights and obligations will depend on the situation. You are both released from the contract if, for example: > the accommodation has been destroyed > access roads have been closed, or > the authorities have advised that the area is not safe to enter. We were told that the policy would not be changing and to “get a lawyer”. We were so disappointed in such unprofessionalism as well as the poor treatment of potential returning customers. Unfortunately we are forced to take this further.

Peaceful, relaxing, tranquil

Reviewed By barrettg41

After a surprisingly route down the bottom of a residential street we arrived at Amore. The cabins were set apart with an abundance of trees in between. We had arrived a little early but the lovely gentleman was understanding and had no issue letting us into our cabin. The cabin was wonderful with everything you needed, the spa bath was definitely big enough for two and breakfast was a great treat in the morning. We would definitely love to visit again in the winter and use the log burner.

Panda Holiday Inn

Disgusting, horrible accommodation. Do not waste your money.

Reviewed By Dunclev

We arrived, expecting something clean and with facilities described on Booking.com, especially for $2300 for 7 nights. We thought it would be basic but nice enough. Sadly, the place was disgustingly dirty, facilities not as described and in need of maintenance. - the garage is full of furniture so only parking on street, not secure and it's a main thoroughfare - only a bar fridge with an iced up freezer...you can store maybe some milk and a few other small items but not enough for a family. - the stove top doesn't work - there is black mould in the bathroom - the carpets are filthy beyond belief - the paint is literally falling from the ceiling in some rooms - the curtains are falling down - general grime everywhere - no dishwasher as described We were offered a refund for 3 nights of 7, which was just so disappointing as we had to leave because we couldn't stay somewhere so filthy with our baby. It was also Christmas. The listing was so different from the actual place. If it was budget price it'd be maybe okay...but for the price it is an absolute con. Don't waste your money.
