Reviewed By roderickd823The hotel is wonderful located on the edge of a magnificent village eguisheim in the alsace in France . The hotel looks romantic and would have been if not too many things went wrong. We did not mind in the beginning that the WiFi ,fridge nor airconditioning did not work... not even that the window and garden part was not cleaned for months! But when we also ate one of the worst dinners ... it all became to much.. we ordered the menu of the house . Salad was good , main dish (specialty in the Alsace was awful and tasteless but the desert won the price of the worst .. a cake like beton and even the ice was tasteless Believe us ... we can have a lot but this was too much and influenced our stay in this beautiful part of France . The service was very friendly but the waiter nor receptionist did do something (like a coffee included) to make us feel a bit better

Reviewed By huys25The cornerroom we had was simple but nicely decorated and had an extra one person bedroom adjoint. The hotel gave us a six day free parking card as part of our hiking arrangement. At night no traffic noise or airplanes, perfect. Goed breakfast and very friendly staff. Face masks required (October 2021). A small disadvantage was (for our room) that under the corridor next to our room a (kitchen? ) ventilator is functioning that gives a buzz, wich still can be heard in our room. That should be soundproof insulated or connected.

Reviewed By Izzie888We spent 3 lovely nights at the B & B in another half timbered building round the corner which they have. It was so close to the village center and the private free parking was a real bonus. Sophie and his brother, the winemaker were both very welcoming. The room and bathroom were super clean and quiet. Breakfast was good with fresh juice. Sophie also gave us information about the walk we wanted to do up to the trios chateaux. We did a wine tasting of their organic wines and bought a few cases home which we now enjoy drinking. Thank you again for our lovely stay and your hospitality. We have no hesitation to recommend this place and Eguisheim is such a lovely village!

Gorgeous accommodation in amazing village
Reviewed By slusheemanWe were lucky to get in here! There are only five rooms, but they have been done to an amazing standard. Well appointed room and an amazing bathroom and shower room. The owner serves breakfast in their breakfast room, where there is also wine available by the glass on an honesty system. They have private parking for 2 cars so be there early!. The buildings of the winery are beautiful, and the town square is 40 metres away. Lots of good restaurants nearby, especially the Cave de Eguisheim. However you must do a degustation, and walk away with more wine than you intended..
