In this corner opened in December of 2013. We have been voted best breakfast in King township 3 years in a row. We make almost everything from scratch and serve delicious home cooked meals. We like to think we serve good food fast not just fast food.

This place is quickly becoming a favorite. It is tucked away in the corner of the Foodland plaza in Schomberg Ontario. Recently tried the evening special of Halibut and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were fresh home made with a small dash of seasoning. The real show stopper was the halibut. You received two generous pieces of fluffy meat done in a nice light batter. (Not greasy at all ). The price was exceptionally fair at only $15.99.We had also ordered the open faced beef.The portion was large and served with cooked vegetables and choice of potatoe.I chose the fries which were a pencil style cooked to perfection in a nice clean fryer. The fresh and very tasty beef was covered in a really good dark gravy like you got in days gone by. Fantastic meal and a Fair Price. I will be back soon.

We literally have not made ribs at home since Big Bone came to town. Very Very good especially paired with their Smoked Wings. And since they're not deep fried - they're almost good for you.The Fries and Rings with the combo are plentiful and if you're nice Audrey may give you some of each.atThis is our Go To place if we're hungry or have friends visiting.Food is Great - Service is fast and friendly.Prices are great.

We were a big group with prepaid meals. I was stuck eating there for 3 days. Same breakfast buffet, similar buffet lunch & dinner. The food, and I could be wrong appears to be all packaged and reheated. I could not take it, I finally figured out that if I loaded up with salads and made my own salad, added the veggies from the chafing dish I could eat healthy. My colleague texted me at one point, we need to get outta of here and eat elsewhere, my response, "what you don't like fish sticks?" On our last night, ready to use my salad technique, there was no buffet, fixed menu, Chicken, short ribs, and pasta. I asked if I could eat off the menu, and just order a salad, I would have paid more, but the answer was NO. OK, I ordered the short ribs, dry, with some sort of Korean sauce. I just wanted salad. Now the worst part of the meal, is that others in the restaurant were ordering from the menu. I was too tired and by that time, lost my appetite to complain. In all my years of travel for both personal and business the one thing I have learned is that hotels do what guests want, within reason, and usually we pay more for it, that is OK. Not that night, our group spent a lot of money, 50 people most staying 3 nights, eating 3 meals a day, at the very least they could have given me a salad. I would say that I will never go there again but the resort serves our purpose and is quite awesome for meetings so next year will come again but maybe I will ask our organizer to not feed me and I will order pizza, burritos or Pho from Alliston.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent conference stay. Our breakfast buffet offering is consistent with a variety of hot & cold options to satisfy a multitude of guests. Our dining staff is always open to providing an a la carte option based on dietary requirements or if you prefer a different style of egg preparation. The dinner menus change nightly as well and with your group, one night was a buffet and the following was a la carte. It is unfortunate that you did not prefer any options offered for your group meals as the offerings were pre-arranged based on the package chosen by the event coordinator. We certainly strive to accommodate all special requests on site and will be sharing your comments and concerns with our culinary and dining team for improvements to service standards and menu options. It is great to hear that our meeting facilities suit your group needs. For future, we will be sure to include your concerns and expectations of food options and feel free to contact the conference organizer directly so that we can ensure that appropriate selections are available at your next group event. The only thing decent about this place was the baked potato. I had the steak and lobster, which literally didnât have any flavour. My wife had the chicken with salad, salad was old, not crisp at all. Step mom had a salad as well, she ate two bites and sent it back. The waitress was brutal. Brought us the bill, did not remove ever one of the salads from the charge. When asked about it, the waitress was like yeah, itâs still on your bill. Anyway, first restaurant review for me and wow, what an awful place. Both food and service were a 2/10 for me at best. Avoid like the plague.

We go with our family for half price wings (they have it every Mon and Wed). The wings are quite large with plenty of meat on them and a great variety of flavours to choose from. Best wings in the area we find. The pub itself could use a bit of an update but wings are great and staff are friendly.

A nice dinner a rainy night. I had the chicken burger but didn't want anything too spicy, the waitress (Nancy) recommended the Mississippi sauce instead and it was perfect sweet with a bit of a bite. A very generous chicken breast with great toppings. The lights sangria was a nice pairing.

This was a really fabulous place to grab a delicious meal everything on the menu was spectacular..Not quite sure what happened around the menu change time and after..Their choices became limited it seemed like all the fabulous menu choices were all no longer found on the menu Shame actuallyâ¦.. I first ordered one of their sandwiches when we finally received our meal it seemed dry.. it was then that I realized they chief had forgotten the mayo..I mention this to the server .. she quickly returned with the mayo I did not want to complain about the meal as it was the first week of the menu launch and oversites can happen.We returned the following evening with a business associate of ours to grab a quick meal. Two ordered the amazing Thursday Prime Ribâ¦. It was not so amazing any more.. One was ordered medium and the other was medium well.Both came out pretty close to rare with big chucks of fat⦠the veggies were cold and there was no au jus to be found. When we requested it we were told they not longer carried that.. Really???? Only thing that was available was some thick stodgy gravy. As for my meal its always been excellent The Chicken Pot Pie which I loved prior to the change⦠When I received it the puff pastry was cold⦠the chicken stew part was warmish with a few carrots and peas.. I was lucky I guess I found 3 whole pieces of chicken it.. This definitely was not the Chicken Pot Pie I loved and rememberedâ¦. I mentioned my dilemma to the server she kindly took it away she asked if I she could get me anything else.. I declined I was so disappointed at this point they were kind enough to comped for my meal.. regretfully sorry to say the 3 of us will never go back Ohales again.. Shame actually it did have some pretty awesome meals at one time.. But not since their menu change. ï

Stopped in while on a road trip with my husband. Friendly staff. Dark interior bar/pub area. Patios with chairs & umbrellas. Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Great menu selection. We ordered a chopped salad & the house burger. Both were served quickly and cooked perfectly. Lots of fixins' on the salad. Yum! Nice place to grab a quick bite.
