Recently tried the following:Four makis (incl., spicy tuna, spicy eel and California Roll). These tasted reasonably good. They were not terribly generous in size.Korean Bibimbap: Mostly white rice. The beef was minimal and seemed almost artificial. Came with some carrot and onion strips and a spicy sauce on the side. Was a very poor approximation of the Korean dish. Didn't taste that great. Not a good value at all.Drunken Noodles: Also a poor approximation of another, Thai, dish. The noodles had a funny flavor, almost like donuts, if you can imagine that. Minimal meat (chicken) in the dish. No basil that I could find. Didn't taste that great, and also not a good value. For the same or slightly higher price, I can find much better sushi, Korean and Thai dishes. Don't think I'll return here.
If you are looking for fresh, excellent, carefully prepared sushi, this undecorated gem is a must!Owned by a husband and wife, the value and quality is very high and the owners are most friendly too. Try their tempura sushi, it is quite good with fresh crunchy tempura within the roll. The rice is also always very fresh and the portion are quite nice. If you become a good customer, they will insist on giving you extra.Excellent for sashimi lovers, maki and nigiri sushi and vegetarian sushi!

This place stands out from a similar place that we visit in Baltimore in that the interior is much, much nicer. Looks nicer and smells nicer. However, the choice of items is more limited, and some of them (like the fried chicken) doesn't taste quite as good. Our experience here was also nicer than our "other place" because it was not nearly as crowded. However, this is not always a plus at a buffet place because food sits longer in the open air. This place is also a bit more expensive than our usual place. I did find a few items that I liked as well as other buffets (e.g., some stir-fried items and short ribs, and a couple of desserts). On average, because the food was not quite as fresh, tasty or varied, I give this place an average score. Okay for a fill-up if it's the most conveniently located for you.

Okay, call me a sushi snob, but I never thought of Timonium as a place to find really good sushi (I went to the State Fairgrounds there for a train show!). But I did a quick search for someplace to grab lunch, and the reviews convinced me to try Yamato Sushi. A good call indeed! When I got there, it was pretty well packed, but I was able to get a seat at the sushi bar. I ordered a la carte, sampling both nigiri and maki sushi. I was impressed, the tuna roll was perfectly formed, with plenty of fresh maguro inside. And the nigiri was also very nice, with a good ratio of rice to fish.Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent, and I had the feeling of being in an old-school sushi bar. Except, that is, for the wild variety of rolls. The assortment of ingredients that get tucked inside a sheet of seaweed boggle oneâs mind, and many of these are on the menu at Yamato. However, itâs easy to go traditional here, and thatâs what I did for a very refreshing meal. Iâll be heading back to Yamato whenever I find myself in the area.

It's an unassuming spot/relaxed atmosphere, and we couldn't believe the value for the sushi we had in the heart of Towson! Started w/edamame and Thai chicken mushroom soup. Had Sarah roll (w/spicy tuna and salmon on top), tuna/avocado, crab/avocado (real crab meat), and soft crab tempura rolls. All delicious - will definitely be back for more!

This is the first time I ordered the Lunch Special Combo as Iâve typically ordered rolls. My Cali-Roll and Shrimp Tempura came in a Bento Box with Green Salad and Rice. 2 pieces of shrimp with lots of tempura veggies. My colleague enjoyed her Spicy Tuna and Crispy Salmon Skin Rolls. Friendly server. Pay on street and pay lot park parking across the street.

They moved across the street and after a couple of years, have reopened. They have the best Chinese in the area. Beautiful remodel. The house fried rice is excellent as are the chicken, beef and seafood offerings. The egg rolls are done perfectly. Quick carry out offered.

If you like freshly made sushi, this is the place. Kyodai serves sushi in the classic Japanese way i.e. on a conveyer belt. I know because I was stationed in Japan for several years. Kyodai's sushi is fresh, authentic and delicious. Prices are a little higher than some places but the extra cost is absolutely worth it. Additionally, they serve authentic seaweed salad, conch salad and yummy fried Oreos. If you're into sushi, you will love this very cute restaurant. Only thing, I was accidentally double-charged on my Visa card. I called the restaurant and they immediately made it right.
