We have stayed here before and we were not disappointed then or now. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted with a smile and great customer service We had room 10 and it was spotless the room smelt brand new! The bathroom is modern and spotless.the water pressure..rainhead shower and hot water were fantastic.. The kitchenette was perfectly appointed. The view!! Was simply amazing .and as far as the eye could see from the bed or the little verandah. The bed was comfy and had a pillow top and the pillows were soft.. a great night's sleep. Highly recommended and we will be back very soon.

Pretty decent for a motel with all the right facilities, great location

Reviewed By jebskulker

A very short walk from the coach station from Sydney/Nowra, my key was waiting at reception. The room had all the facilities I needed, the air conditioning was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, great TV, good mini fridge and shower and toilet and decent tea & coffee facilities with a kettle, even a kitchen sink, the outside balcony looking over the lagoon down the hill was lovely for relaxing with a drink. A relaxing option in a great location with no street noise.

Disappointed

Reviewed By 421odettea

Trying to find a last minute room and found this place. The holiday lodge obviously books out due to availability in Narooma and it’s location is good. As for the owner? What a rude horrible man. Thought I would try for a 1pm check in, only an hour before I could. I was basically screamed at by this man that he was closed and the room wasn’t ready. I had booked a twin room for $176 a night. I had gone and done activities, he called at 4pm to say the room was ready and that he was going out. When I checked in no twin room. 1 bed and a sofa with no linen! Very disappointed. I tried to call to get linen but of course no answer. Would not recommend this hotel at all unless you are in desperate need to stay somewhere!

Stay elsewhere until it is renovated

Reviewed By CanberraTell

We stayed 3 nights in a "suite" and OK it had a separate BR and a lounge area but it is very tired. The dark color scheme did not help. Spider webs and other detritus indicated a very poor cleaning regime. It is just not worth the money and is well and truly outdated. They have a new Chinese Restaurant. Why will this be a "goer" when all the other Chinese restaurants have only 2 or 3 covers on midweek nights is beyond me.

Great budget friendly accommodation

Staff were really friendly. Handed out torches when the town had a blackout. Great price and just what you need. Close to the supermarket and quiet spot. Great for families with kids or just solo. Will definitely stay here again in the future when I visit. The only downside was the hot water took a really long time to even get warm.

Two night Minimum

Reviewed By MaxCX1

We were visiting Narooma mid week to catch up with friends as we passed through and was surprised to find most accomodation showing no vacancy. We got online to book and saw this motel had availability. So we thought it’s just 5 minutes away, we will visit ourselves and book. When the shabbily dressed staff came out he looked at his laptop for a few minutes and then told us unless we wanted to stay for two nights there was nothing available.

Eco - hell

Reviewed By avarona

I really don’t like to write such bad reviews but I have been absolutely disgusted and shocked how terrible this hotel is. Our adult family members stayed in 2 rooms and both rooms were equally horrendous. I walked into our room on the first night to instantly see a very distasteful stain on our doona cover which straight away made me want to run. It only got worse from there. My husband went to put our soap in the shower to find an old used cake of soap and a used razor blade sitting in the shower, black mould on the ceiling and windows and an awful sewerage smell in the bathroom that never left. There are cockroaches and bugs crawling around everywhere including in the microwave, mosquitos galore which left us with bites over us when we woke up in the morning. It is a very old and dated place which is fine, but it has been left to rundown. The biggest concern for me was the lack of a smoke detector in our room. It was like a lot of other broken items in the rooms which had broken and never bothered to be repaired. The only positive were the friendly staff who were very helpful. It has been an experience staying here and one that has been burnt into my memory.
