Between here and Parrilla La Forgata - Parrilla is better. I was not impressed with Maria's food. It was average. The restaurant wasn't that clean, the wait staff didn't really understand the food on the menu, and overall the food was average.I will not be back because I feel I can get better quality food at La Forgata and the food is consistently good.

We eat here frequently. It is such a better choice than fast food. Everything is fresh and they make the tortillas right in front of you! many choices on your entre... black beans, corn relish, guacamole, sour creme, cheese, pico... from salads to tacos to burritos. Everything is great. Quick service.

We have been here a few times. Best described as very good, authentic and clean.Have tried burritos, quesadillas and steak fajitas. Only disappointed was that the steak was overcooked with the sizzling steak fajitas. But, with the rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoe and guacamole that came with it, I was stuffed.Mind you, this is just a little place in a desolate strip store, you're not bringing your date or corporate clients here.BUT, RUMOR IS THAT, THEY ARE TAKING OVER THE ACAPULCO GRILL IN LINDENWOLD, WHICH WOULD BE GREAT.

Tucked amongst a laundromat and a post-office in a standard jersey strip mall, this gem is not to be missed. For kids who are not adventurous there are chicken fingers and cheese quesidillas. For the rest of us there are large portions of amazing choices; the Al Pastor (spicy pork) was flavorful and tender, spicy Enchiladas Verdes, sizzling fajitas, and hot sauces packed with both spice and flavor. Excellent service, spacious, BYOB.

We used a Groupon on a recent visit. Are server was very attentive and personable. She recommends a few specialty drinks which we tried. She did say they were sweet. Most of us enjoyed our drinks but one person found theirs to be too sweet. We started with a large guacamole which was fresh and nicely seasoned. My husband enjoyed his enchilada platter. I had combo fajitas. All of the meat was nicely seasoned and tender. Our companions both ordered a recommended dish which we never heard of. It was served in a bowl and had rice, chicken, jalapeño peppers , cactus and other items. They both enjoyed it. I may try it next time we visit. Most of us took enough food home for another meal. We tried the tres leche cake and the cheesecake wrapped it a tortilla and fried. Both were very good. Prices were very reasonable especially because portions were very generous.

My husband and I went here tonight, based on positive reviews from other diners. It was...an experience.Positive: my husband got one of their fruit drinks. It was refreshing. The queso fundido was good. The chicken, crab, and sauce in my pollo Mexicano was tasty Cons: the waitress really did not want to bring my husband water. It took like 4 tries and twenty minutes to get it. His tacos were lame. The service was slow. Our entrees were brought out one at a time, like 10 minutes apart. The bathrooms are..confusing and hard to locate. My rice and beans were not good.We won't be back. Mediocre at best.

Service is great, food above outstanding, drinks are excellent, prices very reasonable. We're a frequent visitor and never disappointed. Only drawback is that it gets crowded (for the obvious reasons of course) and so I have to wait ... but I'm willing.
