We havenât been to Carrabbaâs recently, and never this location. We had dinner at about 8:30 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was somewhat dirty, the furniture and fixtures looked worn, and the place seemed a bit understaffed. The salads were flavorless, the lemonade was terrible, and the pasta was meh. We ate our food so it deserves a 3, but no more.

We were driving to a destination in West Virginia and would need picnic sandwiches. Santini's fit the bill. Love their club sandwich. All sandwiches were really good size and exactly what we needed. Lots of chip options. Appears one can dine in or take out. Many beverage options were available as well. Fast service and we were on our way. We will return!

So often I avoid hotel restaurants and bars since they tend to be overly-expensive and rather bland. Since the Westin isn't located near any restaurants/cafes this wasn't an option at my unscheduled layover at Washington Dulles. Having missed my final flight on a 42-hour sojourn, I checked into the Westin and needed a quick dinner and a couple adult beverages. I went down to the hotel bar, Padella. Wow! What wonderful, friendly, attentive, and just plain nice bartenders were there to greet me. They brought the food quickly and kept the beer glass full. Both were so pleasant and nice. The burger and fries were great for a hotel bar and the beer selection on tap was perfect. I give this place 4 stars and the bartenders 5+ stars.

Never in my life had I been served an eggplant Parmesan sandwich that had mushy eggplant with seemingly no breading, no Parmesan, sparing marinara, and little flavor. We ordered veggies on the side instead of fries, and the cook decided to mix the veggies in with the eggplant! It looked like a mushy caponata with provolone, thrown into a hoagie. When we pointed out the mistake with the veggies, the cook winced that he would have to make a whole new sandwich, so we just kept it. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were hungry that night and wanted a good meal and not just good service.

We stopped here after a sandwich craving hoping we could satisfy our lives. This deli ended up being the best decision we've made in a while. Not only are the sandwiches HUGE, they're also delicious. So many choices on the menu! The staff was really friendly, and we got along with him will.

We are from the NY/NJ area where you can find delicious Italian food. Piero's is the best Italian we have had in the area. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is friendly. We started with Carciofi Fritti, $8.95, which is beer battered fried artichoke hearts. The batter was perfectly light and did not over power the artichokes. Then we had Eggplant Rollantino, $16.95, which is filled with ricotta and baked with tomato and mozzarella. This was prefect and delicious and came with linguini. We also had Tortellacci di Carne, $17.95, , which is short beef ravioli in a porchini mushroom mascarpone cream sauce. Wow!!! This was definitely the best thing we had. For dessert we had Temptation Chocolate Mouse Cake, $6.50. This had delcious chocolate flavor. Our meal was all very good and worth the prices. Service was very good. The owner was walking around and checking on the food. he also visited with some customers. It makes a huge difference when someone cares about the customer. This is located in the Franklin Farms just off of Fairfax County Parkway.

I don't know why I've taken so long to review Cantina D'italia. We often stop for lunch after tennis and it's one of our favorite spots. The manager Jason is really good at his job! He's friendly and accommodating. He always takes good care of us. The menu is large, so make a decision.....soup/salad, fresh pasta, sandwich or full entree. Their house wines are incredibly good and we usually have a carafe with several glasses of their cab. The salads are good-sized and tasty....both the house salad with fresh veggies and the Caesar. My favorite dish is their gnocchi. It's tender and delicious. I 'stray' now and then to another option, but always come back to the gnocchi. They also serve bread and olive oil for dipping. Their caprese is delicious as well, served with a wonderful balsamic. A perfect Italian spot....right on Elden Street!

Wow! Just Wow! No words. Im speechless. The veal my husband ordered was melt in your mouth delicious and the cleopatra linguini.... OMG! The dessert? I have no idea what that was but it was AMAZING! I was full but it was not a heavy dessert, it felt light and airy and at the same time creamy and decadent.... just WOW! My new favorite spotâ¤ï¸
