Easter Brunch 2022

Reviewed By WolfeboroLocal

Easter Brunch at the Wolfeboro Inn. $50.00 per person and not worth even half that amount. Food was mediocre at best. The Mediterranean salad was OK. Tomato bisque was merely "Meh". Spanish fritatta was dry and largely flavorless. Fire roasted apple pancakes were flat, dry, no discernable apple taste, and a slight burnt aftertaste. Desserts were on a scale of the cheap frozen stuff you can buy at the grocery store, de-frost, and throw on a plate. Left most of what I chose on my own plate after only a few bites. For $50.00 I expect a custom omelet station, baked ham- particularly on Easter, toast, bagels, pastries fresh fruit, coffee - regular and de-caf, juices, hot and cold cereals. You know, premium brunch choices to match the premium price. Yet, there was NONE of that. On a positive note, our server was attentive, prompt, and pleasant. I referred to the whole thing as our "farewell to the Inn" meal. Won't go back. Sorry, not sorry.

Amazing B&B, Excellent Location

Reviewed By ChristinaA2629

I stayed at 123 Main B&B with my husband for a long weekend. We were lucky to have perfect autumn weather and the foliage and town were beautiful. The hosts, Pedro and Cecilia, were so warm, welcoming, and helpful. Pedro helped us plan activities and recommended restaurants.. he also took us on a scenic boat tour. The house is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and walking trails. We were really able to relax and enjoy our time. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Winddrifter

With Covid still in play the resort was short staffed . They managed to get things done the best they could with the help from the guests. I can’t speak for anyone else but it all worked out. The resort is older but you can see that the owners are doing upgrades to improve everything. The room we had you could really see the improvements. Over all we had a great trip.

Lake Wentworth Inn

Best value in Wolfeboro

Reviewed By jhlowe2

This old fashioned style motel was completely renovated in the past few years and is quite a nice place to stay. Check in was easy and conducted by a very friendly staff person. Its such a pleasure to back your car up to the door and unload as opposed to dealing with stairs and elevators. The spacious room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and included a frig and a quality hi def TV. There was a surprisingly large well furnished lobby that included games, a pool table, a fireplace, and just a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee. (Instant oatmeal was also provided in case you didn't want or need a large breakfast.) The location was maybe a quarter mile off the Cotton Valley Rail Trail, a great route to bike into town or for a longer ride in the other direction. Roughly the same distance was Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Wentworth Inn

Awesome birthday getaway

My husband and I got away for my birthday. We only stayed one night, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer and loved our room. The jacuzzi tub is awesome! We were the only ones staying mid week, so we felt extra pampered and had an amazing breakfast made by Heidi. She was a great host and we will definitely be back!

Pretty quiet cottage set close to everything

Reviewed By njltraveler

We stayed in cottage 11 for five nights this months and absolutely loved how quaint it was. There were beautiful flower boxes, cute lighting all around and assigned parking next to your cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. Our little kitchen was adorable with a cute dining table, a stove, sink, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was very clean with a large vanity, plush towels and a bonus changing room. There was plenty of light in the cottage to make it feel airy and bright. If you are looking for a more natural visit to Wolfeboro, this is the way to go. The cottage gave us the privacy we desired with a clean private barbecue available and picnic table and two Adirondack chairs to seating. Close by was a fire pit with several chairs and was a great place to relax after a long day and talk to other guests. Bikes were available for a close ride on the Cotton Trail and kayaks for the lake. If you are looking for a plush hotel this is not it. It is exactly how a cottage should look. Everything in Wolfeboro was within walking distance if you wanted to walk and not take the car out. Best part of the experience is the availability of the owner and his staff by cellphone, text and email to answer all your questions at anytime. They make you feel like family.
