Reviewed By HiThereEveryOneHosts: Superb. Warm, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast: Superb. The room: Superb. Tastefully decorated. The view from the room: Just grand. The beds: super comfy. The village itself: Enchanting. Out of a fairy tale. Two local restaurants. Better check for opening days and hours though. Highly recommend the place.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been
Reviewed By Dana MI was searching for a peaceful place to get away from the busy city life and found this gite, what can I say, I picked perfectly. I was warmly welcomed by Jitka and Alexis and as I entered the house I immediately felt taken back to the old times, the interior is so tasteful and original southern french, the gentle sound of classical music streaming through the rooms, alongside with the smell of some homemade pastry (Jitka is a fantastic cook, meals are mostly with vegetables of her garden). I felt all warm and fuzzy. From my room I had a vast view to a wide open space and after sleeping in the bed I felt like a princess. Got up in the morning and had a nice swim in the swimming pool (no chlorine!) before I explored the surroundings Lussan. This was a wondeful experience, I could really feel the spirit of southern france and I will come back, for sure.

Disappointing
Reviewed By Anne VWe stayed for 5 days. For all this time, the reception, the bar and the restaurant stayed closed. For basic things like a clean drinking glass, drinking water, heating the room beyond 12 degrees, you had to call a telephone number, printed on the key. The room was not hoovered, the bathmat not changed for the duration of the stay. Breakfast was some pieces of industrial bread and croissant, refilled Bonne Maman pots, that's it. One of the ladies serving the breakfast was very friendly and made the best of it. There is no restaurant, bar or shop in the village.

If you get lost around Uzes, happy you, you have now a shelter around! 10 km North is small "les Plus beaux Villages de France" Lussan with its castle and "remparts" cercling the city. Within the village, la Fontasse is a marvelous B&B. Isabelle has equipped her rooms with taste and quality. Swimming pool is worth when temperature rises. A must stop and a must do! Enjoy your stay.

Un beau petit pied à terre au beau milieu de la garrigue, sous les chênes :)
Reviewed By annomi1Suite à un voyage dans le cadre du travail, je découvre un lieu très beau, en plein milieu de la nature et à proximité de beaux petits villages du Gard. Le pied à terre est vraiment "sous les chênes", c'est magnifique et paisible. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants, et s'adaptent à notre rythme. Le pied à terre comprend une chambre avec petit bureau, un coin lecture (beaucoup de livres disponibles) en face de la piscine, une cuisine meublée tout confort, un coin toilette. Endroit parfait pour un repos où un travail en toute tranquillité...
