Reviewed By jdd-666My wife wanted a few days off where we could hike a bit but where she could also practice yoga. Was quit a search to find such place not too far away, but we did! This place provided yoga training, has a superb wellness and a great kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and will go back for sure.

Reviewed By Saipem16A great stay here, had stopped by a few weeks ago for a "plat du jour" which was excellent , really a gastronomic delight. Decided to book a room over the weekend demi pension. Room fine with balcony and valley views, evening set meal again a gastronomic experience, bravo to the chef. Breakfast fine and must say all the staff very professional and welcoming. Will definitely stay again when visiting. Well done all...!!

Surrounded by beautiful woods, the rooms are clean and comfortable and have a beautiful views. The hotel staff is incredibly kind and welcoming and treated us like friends. They were so so kind to help us navigate the area and made us feel right at home. The breakfast and on site restaurant offered delicious food and warm environments. Would definitely come and stay here again and highly recommend for anyone looking to get the a taste of quant French experience. Thank you to the whole team at hotel Des Vosges!

Reviewed By Jonathan TWe stayed at Au Lion dOr for 5 nights and had one of our best holidays. The location is ideal for enjoying the walks in the forests around la Petite-Pierre or the attractions in Strasbourg, Metz, etc. Our room faced the forests - just stunning - and had a balcony. It was well appointed and clean, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The hotel has a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna complex that we used and enjoyed - so useful after our long walks! The real star of the hotel is the restaurant. The food is of a very high standard - some of the best we have experienced. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We will return.

Reviewed By TonionssIn the midst of French Vosgi, a stunning little lake in front of it, a pleasant wood behind it, it promises a great break from city routine. The problem is that the furniture is euphemistically "old-fashion", with many renovations which would be commendable. No English speakers, no English menus. No wifi The restaurant is good, although a bit pricey, as the accommodation. Really, it can become a jewel, but now it is a row gem to be polished

Reviewed By Jolanda_KFEen week gelogeerd in het kleine vrijstaande huisje. Voorzien van lekkere bank, TV, keukentje, eettafel, halfopen badkamer in de hal en enkele bedden. Het tweepersoonsbed lag in het midden wat door. Tevens gebruik gemaakt van een slaapbank, lag aardig goed. Handdoeken en beddengoed aanwezig, deze stonken wel wat naar rook. Het huis is goed te ventileren. In de keuken is zout, peper, olie, azijn, bloem en suiker aanwezig. Buiten was er bank (met kussen), lekker om ver weg te kijken en te genieten van de vogels in de tuin. De WiFi verbinding deed het redelijk. De omgeving is echt prachtig, ideaal om te wandelen. Er zijn heel veel mogelijkheden. En is er een keer een regendag, ga dan naar Straatsburg (met de trein). Thierry de huiseigenaar geeft veel tips en beantwoord je vragen snel, al dan niet per sms. Hij is zeer bereid je te helpen.
