Old fashion but excellent

Reviewed By S5340LUmariet

The rooms were spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and there were lots of added extras which were a lovely touch. We had stayed in more expensive accommodation which was not as good as the Central Highlands Motor Inn.

Just Fantastic

We stayed at Isabella for 2 nights and it was a lot more than we expected. The house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming and it was nicely renovated without losing its original charm. There was an antipasto assortment and a delicious loaf of bread waiting for us on arrival too. All the instructions were easy to follow, including lighting the gas fire and even making pancakes! We really felt the high level of service received wasn’t reflected in the price and I can not recommend Isabella highly enough. We would gladly stay again. Thank you.

Destination Kyneton

Harrys at Destination Kyneton is a self-contained apartment in central Kyneton. It is suitable for one or two adults with a very comfortable Queen-size bed. The town location is excellent, over the road from the famous Piper Street restaurant and shopping precinct and walking distance to town features. Included in your accommodation are WiFi, onsite parking, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and enclosed courtyard. The apartment is private and hidden from view from the street. Kyneton is buzzing with life and history and is an easy 60 min drive from Melbourne. The high speed Melbourne-Bendigo train stops at Kyneton. Your apartment was the rabbit trappers home, built in the 1930s. The red brick building at the front was the rabbit processing factory for 35 years. The bluestone building was set up in 1855 by Caroline Chisholm (ex five dollar note) as the Registry for Births, Deaths and Marriages when Mollison Street was the old Calder Highway.

Not impressed

Was booked into Harry's for a stay on a work trip, finished work at 12am. Finding this place late at night was a hassle. Get on site and spend most an hour trying to figure out what the code was for the key lock.. finally get inside, and thought to myself that I need a cuppa .. put the kettle on, Open the cupboard... No black tea... What place has no normal tea in the pantry?????? Open the fridge... Just some milk.. I see that others got food for breaky. Oh well Also the heater was a night trying to get it working. One good note though, the shower water was hot and had great pressure

Could not fault the whole package, neat and tidy presentation of bygone eras of Australia uniquely presented far from city surrounds. Staff readily available and very obliging. A good way to start the experience is to leave early and experience the food and eateries abounding around the area whetting your appetite for arrival at your destination.
