Scummy moldy window
Reviewed By rbelzinskasDecent place in a decent location. Need to fix broken window and remove the mold growing between the two panes of glass totally obscuring the view out the window. This give the room a very creepy unhealthy feel. To make matters worse, the bed faces the window in this room. Why would you do that?

Reviewed By dbroussard2040I wouldn’t piss on this place if it was on fire. Bugs in bathroom, noise fridge, horrible room, and slime in orange and the employees don’t care. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. There is nothing good about this place.

Reviewed By Jeremy AStayed here after a concert in South Bend and couldn't ask for much more except check in was very long. Stayed here after the Garth Brooks concert "About 25 minutes from the stadium" Room was clean and the bed was actually to my surprise VERY comfy! I think it had a pillowtop. Also, I got a good nights sleep and didn't hear anyone so that was good too. I would stay here again for sure if I was in the South Bend area.

Reviewed By ramrochanWith $150 a night. I expect comfort and cleanliness. Beds were comfortable and very quite location. But the rooms , the elevators, carpets, walls- very dirty. This is the work of the managers. They should be retrained by Comfort Inn. Rooms need to be inspected randomly by managers To make sure the housekeepers are cleaning well. The toilet bowl had stains of urine like you would see in a public washroom. The carpets were heavily stained inside the room and on the stairwells. The elevators were so dirty. No sign of sanitizers. The icing of the cake was the spouts of our taps had tooth paste stains on them like the previous guest had put their mouth after brushing their teeth.. it had dried and so the tap was stained with toothpaste. I went and told the front desk lady there and then. Nothing happened. Before leaving in the morning I made time to talk to the housekeeper also spoke the the house keeping supervisor they looked shocked. Look around ladies the entrance is so dirty the garbages were full. The elevators the carpets you name it it’s dirty. Otho g is shocking to me. I have only two stars because this hotel has so much potential. The management attitude towards their duties needs to change.

Doing fine until the morning of departure
Reviewed By C6989LNkarenpSeemed fine initially. Problem was with departure. Facing a 10 hour trip, we got up early to check out at 5:30. No one at desk, everything was dark. Breakfast was not started until 6:00 so cold eggs and sausage, no milk, no fruit except bananas, no salt & pepper, trashcans had not been emptied from the day before. We asked for milk at 6:10 so we could at least eat cereal and get on our way. Ten minutes later, no milk, we didn't even see her anywhere. We walked out, got our luggage around, stopped at the desk to check out, no one there. We had to go to the kitchen to tell her to check us out. Only one person to do everything? She wasn't even friendly, nor did she at least apologize. This happened on the morning of July 28. I think management needs to check this out, because we've never had such an experience such as that in our 50 years of traveling and staying at Marriott hotels.
