Reviewed By JBretteDStandard DoubleTree, what takes it from a 3 to a 4 is the restaurant. This is a higher quality restaurant, not 'a restaurant in the hotel'. Osteria by Fabio Viviani is the restaurant and my meal was very good. It is needed, as there is really nothing walkable in the area. On a cold windy Chicago night, not having to leave the hotel, do email, and have a quality drink and a meal is a huge plus. Sleep quality was standard, and the Diamond breakfast was limited (this was in early March so might have opened up by now). It is right off of 355, easy on and off, nice location.

Reviewed By Bones20205/5 What a hidden gem! I booked a two night stay at the last minute after a horrific experience at a different nearby accommodation. The front desk GM was the friendliest, even asking about my hometown and reason for travel. I was given all details on any Covid accommodations as well as the need to request cleaning if it was desired. Breakfast area was immaculate and well stocked, coffee was out even earlier (4AM!), and hallways were spotless. Felt very safe with the level of security and staff. Hope the pool is open soon! Will be back for sure!

Reviewed By Charles EWe returned to this property today but were confronted with an unnecessary surprise--a $5 parking charge! The hotel remains spotless and the staff efficient so why add a parking charge when they already have more than enough parking space than lodgers?

This property is consistently bad
Reviewed By Doug FRates keep going up and services disappear. Reduction of Houskeeping staffs have saved hotel chains millions, yet the rates go up. This property has been "renovated" but the same worn and dirty furniture remains. Here's what I enjoyed during my recent 4 day stay: -Breakfast non-existent by 8am each day. There was one sausage one day and another guest jumped in front of me to grab it. No bacon ever, but if you like biscuits and gravy you could get that every day. -NO towel bars in the bathroom so you can hang up towels - and you have to give the front desk a written request by 10am to get towels, TP or whatever else the room needs -4 day stay with ZERO housekeeping - not even trash pickup. Good location but poor property. Avoid.

I have frequently stayed here and everytime I must expound on the level of excellence. Friendly and professional. Well maintained property with a sense of safety. Great location for traveling with family and your pets. Centrally located near Chicago, Malls, hospital, grocery store. Onsite laundry facilities open parking adequately lit and best of all affordable. Fully equipped kitchenette with the essential necessity to save money and cook in the comfort of your room. Reviewed By Ronda BWe stayed here for our 25th Anniversary. It was amazing. We loved the pool and jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable and the massage chair was awesome. It was very quiet and relaxing to be able to eat breakfast and snacks by the pool. I would love to go back ?
