Reviewed By acaidaGreat hotel staff. Friendly and helpful. Staff always readily available. Knowledgeable. Breakfast is a disaster. Even when you get to breakfast early things are dirty. Area where oatmeal and cereals are served is always dirty. The tops for the oatmeal and condiments are dirty as well as serving spoons. If this is stained then they should be replaced. Many breakfast items are not available which stinks when you get your room and have paid for the full breakfast. Many tables and floor areas are not clean either.

It was ok. Initial appearances mean a lot
Reviewed By alwaystosagirl1983We were traveling through Corning on our way to Maine. I read the reviews and decided to see if this place had any availability. I drove through the back entrance and encountered huge potholes bigger than my house. I also observed fencing around the back that really needed to be painted. Not a good first impression. So I asked if we could see a room before committing to a room. The clerk was dumbfounded but did let us see a room. It seemed ok and we stayed the night. Fairly clean and nice room. We left the next morning at 6 and no coffee or anything offered. Now I know it didn't start until 7 but could have had coffee and an apple. After all, we did pay for a continental breakfast. Clerk never asked us how was everything. However at the other 5 places we stayed, No one else asked how things were. I guess if you have a complaint you better tell them. Because they won't ask. The new normal.

Horrible experience
Reviewed By Cgoff8830Hotel room was outdated even though hotel says it was recently renovated. We were there for a wedding party and multiple rooms had leaking ceilings and issues with plumbing in bathroom (leaking showers and tubs). Stairwells had buckets collecting water dripping from roof. Some of us were moved to other rooms to only be moved again. One room has a ceiling leaking on a lamp and was told by management they could have a bucket and place a towel in it so it wasn’t as loud dripping. We reserved a room for a party yet staff had no knowledge of this. The Champaign purchased for the room was unavailable and the bar staff was extremely rude. Front desk staff had no concern for our issues and when one of us complained, the manager was at the desk laughing about the issue. Completely unacceptable. The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

Great rate, comfortable, gluten free bagels

He let us know there was no elevator and that the pool was closed before we checked in. He offered to help with luggage etc. it was a weeknight so the hotel was pretty quiet. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Some of The furnishings need replaced. There were a few small holes and tears in the curtains and lamp shade but for the price it was great. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and strong. Also I am gluten free so I was very pleasantly surprised to find gluten free bagels at breakfast!!!! I will update stay at this hotel again!

Reviewed By rooberWe stayed overnight at the Corning Fairfield Inn and were very satisfied with our stay. The service was efficient and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, and complimentary breakfast fit the bill. Did not get to try the pool—maybe next time!

Reviewed By Amy WExcellent location for walking in town, very large, very clean room and bathroom. Easy check in downstairs. We stayed on a Thursday night in May, so no noise at all from bar/restaurant downstairs and street noise not that bad. There are stairs, and they are narrow so definitely not for everybody, but we would definitely stay again.

Nice motel around Corning
Reviewed By _N2449MXI booked a single room for two nights. The manager was nice enough to put me in recently updated double room.Everything was new from appliances, furnitures to the bathroom. The queen beds are nice , clean and comfy. The WiFi signals are weak in the room. The motel is about 5 mins from the town and the museum.

Reviewed By billyp607607This is the worst hotel experience of my life. Stains on the bedding with cigarette burn holes (pics included), rotten shower floor and other damages. I tried to lie down for a nap at one point and it took all but 10 mins to find a bug crawling on me. I didn’t sleep once for the 24 hours i was stuck at this place. Seriously disgusting. Shut this place down.
