Reviewed By Simonne15Any review of this place is completely coloured by the appalling behaviour of the management. I had paid for the room via Paypal with Booking.com at the point of making the reservation however on the morning of our departure a manager named Fabiola insisted that I pay by bank card. At that moment she was so insistent and unreasonable and because my evidence of payment on the original booking confirmation was in my email account and my tablet was in the suitcase, I conceded. We couldn't delay to deal with her ineptitude/possible lack of training or maybe understanding of the Booking.com relationship with Paypal: we had a deadline to reach the airport! I assumed - wrongly it seems- that the refund of my double payment would be easily resolved. Once able to copy the evidence of duplicated payment, I sent it by email to the Hostal and requested a refund. That was during December 2017, prior to Christmas. It has taken until now, Easter 2018 for Booking.com ultimately to send my refund because management at the Hostal have cleverly avoided all attempts by myself, a spanish friend able to converse with the staff by phone and also Booking.com Customer Service, to request the refund. I even have a message from the Hostal asking for my bank details in order that they could make the refund: it was never forthcoming. I now know from Booking.com that this is a frequent occurrence -might one say 'ploy'? that properties manage to charge twice. So travellers should be advised to be vigilant and unfortunately it seems we shall need to carry hard copy of payment in future! Beware.

Reviewed By christopherfX1368YKThis is a great place to stay, it is close to shops and restaurants and also the start of many local hikes. It is clean with everything you need. It has a lovely communal garden. The host Isabel is very responsive and always happy to help. We recommend 100%.

Reviewed By Palmag800The property and location is excellent. The property is of high standard, rooms well decorated, beds comfortable and hot water on tap!! Its great for large groups as it has numerous twin rooms so can accommodate approx 12-15 people. Most rooms are fitted with air con/heater units (needed due to cold temperatures at night!!). The only major annoyance were the elderly couple that manage the property. They accessed the property day or night turning lights and heaters off, while we were in the property. This happened on several occasions. They would switch off the fuses to cut all power to the building and would hide the heater remote controls. They would lock the main doors locking some of our party out of the accommodation. They would also enter our rooms without knocking and sometimes while females were in their beds.

Reviewed By nat250476Hemos parado en este paraíso para conocer la sierra de Grazalema.Habitaciones dobles con baños,cocina,terrazas, jardín,piscina y más importante,el trato es muy familiar.Yoli, la encargada, es la chica más simpática,te facilita la estancia,recomienda donde se puede comer o pedir comida a domicilio.Por el camino de vuelta,ya deseando volver otra vez.Mejor,que hemos pasado,imposible.

Excelente lugar
Reviewed By Encarni PEn nuestra visita a Algodonales estuvimos en este alojamiento. Puedes reservarlo por cualquier página de internet o llamar directamente a Rafa, su propietario. Está localizado en pleno centro del pueblo, cerca de la Iglesia prinicipal, en una zona de bares y restaurantes. Está situado en la zona peatonal de la calle Feria, con aparcamientos asequibles alrededor. El único inconveniente son los tramos de escaleras que hay, ya que el edificio no tiene ascensor. El alojamiento es amplísimo, con tv grande, cocina totalmente equipada, incluso con máquina de café, dos cuartos de baño, una habitación con cama de matrimonio y otra con camas individuales. Además tiene una amplia terraza con una mesita para contemplar unas excelentes vistas de Algodonales. Si a todo esto le sumamos una limpieza y un cuido extremo de todo, no me queda otra que puntuar a este lugar con un EXCELENTE.

Lugar increible en un pueblo precioso
Reviewed By RenatoPablosEl albergue es muy amplio y con unas vistas al valle increibles. Habitaciones amplias, salon muy bien adicionado, incluso cocina para poder prepararte tu algo de comida. El pueblo y todos los de alrededor son increiblememte bonitos.
