The apartments are located on the Allmend of Lucerne, two kilometres away from the main railway station, from the old town, from the lake and footsteps away from the football stadium "Swisspor Arena". The highway junction (Kriens Süd) is only a 2.5 kilometres drive from the apartment. The main rail station and old town Lucerne can easily be reached with the public transport within 10 minutes. Buses are heading towards Lucerne every 15 minutes from the bus stop, which is only a few footsteps from the apartments. Also there is a rail station close to the apartments. Trains pass through the station every 30 minutes. All sightseeing spots and the main rail station are only a few minutes away from the apartment. The apartments are located in Tower 1. Both of the HOCHZWEI towers are the highest in all of central Switzerland. The apartments are fully equipped and light flooded. The modern apartemnts also include a kitchen that comes with a combination device to be used as a microwave as well as for baking. In addition the apartments contains a bathroom, equipped with a shower, toilets, a mirror cabinet, a hairdryer, an electric iron and an ironing board. A flat screen TV with a wide range of channels and WIFI are at your free disposal.
Old, rickety and depressing dump.
Reviewed By John MRun down, dirty, very very basic apartment. Cramped room with 3 beds and a kitchen table. Actually feel dirty being in this place. Images on booking.com and trip advisor don't show what it's really like. Actually attempted to book in somewhere else for tonight only there was nothing else available. The instructions to get into the apartment block didn't describe how to get in, we had to ask people going in and out. I would deft not stay here again and it's took the shine off Lucern altogether. We loved Thun and the place we stayed was great, I would think Lucerne would be better if we didn't stay here. Like being a student again.

Pay attention to the crafty...
Reviewed By Nicol CWe booked an apartment from 29th of dec '16 to 1th of Jan 2017 to stay here by my relatives for the new year's eve. I have not credits cards, so to solve the problem they suggest using a bank transfer, and they request to pay ALL THE AMOUNT of the reservation (very strange, Usually it required only 20% deposit of the total sum) no less then the 16th of Dec. Therefore according to the e-mailed date to have available the access code of the flat I pay the total AMOUNT by bank transfer. The day before the established day of departure my 3 year's old daughter had Fever and cold (sometimes happens with little children!)so we were forced to cancel ALL the reservation . Well, according to no one rules they retain -READ CAREFULLY - the 75% of the total amount including the extra charges for (ever made) CLEANING!!!!!!!!! In Italy we call this stealing money (exactly € 650) We try to explain the situation by phone, but they say refunding money is not contemplated and that everyone had (of course) an insurance!!!! PAY ATTENTION this little company is crafty. I UNDERSTAND the economic crisis but from Swiss people I did not expect such a thing.

Poor service and condition
Reviewed By Amy TI booked this place from Expedia thinking it was a hotel. This is not a hotel. It is set up like an airbnb, where you have an studio with an ensuite bathroom. You have to check in a block away because the rooms are in a building that was probably a residential apartment that was converted into tourist accommodations. The room was clean but the furniture was chipped and the bathroom had tacky butterfly decor. The hairdryer did not work. The hotel offers breakfast for additional cost which was not worth it when I saw what they offered and the condition of the dining room. At night, when I returned, it was pitched dark. It did not feel safe. I had to use a flashlight just to find the key hole to open the door from the street level and then found out that the lobby was pitch dark also. Staff was not available in the premises so every time I need something, I had to call the reception desk a block away. Then the answer was always "We don't have that". The only positive thing about this place is it is walking distance to the Dying Lion Monument and a shopping center.

All our apartments with Grandlit have seating and dining facilities. An open kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with beverage assortment and Delizio coffee machine is fully equipped for 2 persons. Check-in / check-out and breakfast take place in the Altstadt Hotel Krone Lucerne.
Great location and a very comfortable modern appartment
Reviewed By lprentThe apartment was spacious with well appointed furniture and appliances. We were not bothered by having to climb the stairs. The huge shower was fantastic. Excellent central location with regards to the train station and good restaurants. We used the washing machine/tumble drier and it was adequate for our needs. We found the hotel staff at reception very efficient but not very welcoming in their dealings with us.

Reviewed By RegiReyAuf unserem Weg von Thun nach Flühli wurde es eng mit Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Wir fanden das sehr schade, denn die Gegend um Flühli herum bietet irrsinnig vielfältige Mountainbike- und Wandertouren.So stießen wir auf das Apartmenthaus Kreuzbuche. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und übernachteten in einem großen Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern einem Wohn Essbereich der sehr großzügig ausgestattet war Bad und einer Küche. Es war so gemütlich das wir beschlossen nicht mehr ins Restaurant zu gehen. Der Gastgeber, Alexander Condor, hat uns aufs höchste verwöhnt. Sogar hätte er uns mit dem Auto abgeholt, wenn wir mit dem Velo noch irgendwohin gefahren wären um in ein Restaurant zu gehen, was aber nicht nötig war. Gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis bekamen wir am nächsten Morgen ein fürstliches Frühstück. Uns hat die Hilfsbereitschaft und das Know-how von Herrn Condor sehr beeindruckt und wir empfehlen diese Location weiter für Gäste die dieses wunderschöne Gebiet mit dem Velo oder per Wanderung auskundschaften möchten. Reviewed By mansichamariaHi. I recently visited Airhome 12 with my family for 12 days. Super clean apartment. Great location. Fully equipped for families who want to cook and use the kitchen. Customer service was amazing. You could get a reply in no minutes which was awesome. Just one think to keep in mind is the no of washroom and shower. Depending on your group size please get it clarified.
