With a board outside stating greatest prices in town...Thought I'd give it a try. Ordered home made dim sims, sambal fish, coconut rice and flat bread. $40 later for take out was rather steep! Dim sims....ordinary. Sambal fish....not spicy. Coconut rice...straight into bin and flat bread was coated with sugar despite asking for something that went with the main. Sorry: not returning.

OK..........clean, bright place with a good layout and easy parking around the area. Service was reasonable although why does it take 30 minutes to serve pho? Everything is pre cooked and ready...........just dip the noodles in the hot water, pour into the broth and add the garnishes.Vietnamese rolls were OK but the Pho was a little disappointing, not the depth of flavour one gets in Vietnam. All was edible and pleasant just not awe inspiring which pho can be if presented with all subtle tastes.NOT OK.................staff that take money without a please or thank you.

After booking into our accommodation we popped into Mt Gambier to get supplies and came across the "Golden Chopsticks" restaurant for a takeaway for dinner. The place had a few people waiting which is a GOOD sign. We ordered the Chef's Combination special. (Prawns,roast pork,chicken,baby corn & vegetables) 1 container was plenty for 2 adults at $16.50It is fully Licensed if you want to eat there. It is Shut on Mondays

Hmmm is probably not the best way to start a review. Being a big fan of Chinese cuisine my expectations are always high. Although I can't say that Mandarin Restaurant didnt completely deliver with their dishes but.... hmmm. I guess the food is a little too westernised and catered for the local scaraboosh. Yes the dishes were quite tasty but lacking that authenticity that a Chinese kitchen should deliver.

We recently ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had entrees and main course and shared these dishes. Service was efficient and friendly and our dishes arrived quickly, but without feeling rushed. The food was fresh and tasty and we left nothing behind. Even though it was mid week the restaurant was full, so I would recommend booking.

Had a fabulous meal last night.Great selection of tasty curries and crispy pork and duck. One of our diners loved the peppered vegetables.Delightful service by the lovely Filipino owner who coped admirably as the solo server.Small space , so book !Highly recommend this unpretentious, Asian cafe .

This actually is one of our favourites. Never disappoints. Staff are friendly and attentive, generally quick service. Food is lovely. Tried a few mains and enjoyed them all however fave would be massaman curry. Also highly recommend the cold rolls for entree...very tasty and refreshing. Decor is nice and great drink selection. Great dining experience.
