I was really looking forward to returning to this Steakhouse after many years absence. They had moved, and parking may be an issue for some; $9 for Valet, and other parking can difficult to find.Because it was a business function, and organizers decided to do it a little different. We did not order off the menu, but had a more southern style delivery of the food. The salad was given us in a large bowl; each table passed it around and we served ourselves. It was a Caesar salad, saturated with salad dressing; the lettuce was wet and drippy. The steak fillets were passed around on a platte; it looked like they were sitting in blood...the meat was so rare.The chicken breast pieces were on a platter and were somewhat small, breaded, and had been sautéed; they were flavorless and greasy. I had been looking forward to the chocolate Ghirardelli cheesecake that I had had a long time ago. Unfortunately, all we got was a small piece of regular nondescript cheesecake . My meal was so disappointing; I don't plan on going back there, to even try to order off the menu.

We had reservations here on a Sunday night to celebrate our anniversary upon arriving to Ohio for a week-long vacation/trip. Our waiter was informative and attentive. All the food we ordered was delicious: calamari, salad, risotto, steaks, and a giant chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The only negative I'd have to say is that we were told that the $24 more Wagu steak would be so much tastier than a regular filet mignon, but to me it tasted mostly the same, so it was not worth the expensive additional cost. A note for other diners: if you're going to a more fine dining restaurant, think about dressing up a bit. Most patrons were wearing business casual attire, but some came in their shorts, jeans, and t-shirts looking tacky.

WELL, LOOK NO FARTHER!!! I can't ever remember, in my entire life, a better meal!What more can I say? This review is beyond speechless because the dining experience at The Precinct was beyond belief! What more can I say? I've enjoyed great restaurants all over the planet and The Precinct is in the TOP TEN!!! SERIOUSLY! Way to go! THE PRECINCT!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Iâm still salivating about my meal last night. There wasnât a thing wrong. We got there a little early so sat at the bar for a drink. I ordered a Dirty Goose Martini and let me tell you is was worth all of the $14 I paid for it. I even got a second one. We were surprised to find out that it was Restaurant Week so they had specially priced meals available. So, instead of splitting a meal as we planned, we ordered our own. My dinner order was the stuffed chicken breast. So delicious I donât know how to describe it. I ate every last bite. My garlic mashed potatoes were perfection. The bread and butter served were fresh. My husband ordered the filet and he loved it. It came still sizzling on the plate. Our food was hot the entire time we were eating. We tried their sweet potato casserole which I donât care for usually but the cinnamon crumble on that stuff was so amazing I could probably eat broccoli if it was topped with that! Our desserts were cheesecake served with chocolate bark. Very yummy! We were actually so sad to have eaten this meal by the end because now we are gonna be unhappy with anything else we ever eat. Nothing will measure up! Holy cow, we had the best time! Our meal for the two of us came to $159. We had drinks and did a few upgrades on the special meals so thatâs why our bill was a little high for restaurant week. Those specials are a 3 course meal for $36. So, you could spend less than we did with no upgrades.

Low quality ingredients prepared in a too artificial way: far too much sweet balsamic vinegar on everything, probably to make us feel we are in an Italian place, but it is just a low-end American kind of food.Average service, not very professional.Too expensive for what it is, not worth it.

We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers, and had the calamari and the steak skewers. Both were excellent and the sangria was delicious as well. Friendly staff and great service, you can't go wrong here!

I recently moved to Cincinnati after living the last 20 years in Boston & NYC. Jeff Ruby's rivals any top steakhouse in the country. I've been many times and the staff is always personable and on top of things and the food is consistently excellent. Would highly recommend!
